Chiefs over Chargers today

4 units on the ML -155 for me. KC will dash San Diego's postseason dreams with the backup quarterback today. Chiefs at home as a short fave is money. I don't care who is playing under center.

Let's not forget Kansas City can still get in with a lot of help. Point is they have something to play for here besides the spoiler role.

I dont like it twizzle... back up QB going means something, and Chargers are the better team imo. Only thing Chiefs have going for them is they are playing at home, which means less to me in divisional games. gl though bud, should be an entertaining game

Here's the thing... I think the fact that Chiefs chances of making the playoffs are so slim that it actually works in their favor. It doesn't have the label of win and in so the pressure isn't too great, and they can keep their division rivals out of the postseason.

Chiefs don't throw the ball downfield anyway. Reid has always done well when forced to play the backup QB. He has a very strong history with this.

back up QB means a helluva lot more in NFL than it does in College. Ohio State still ballin hard with the #3 QB but as we have seen with the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles playing with a back up QB can mean its GAME OVER, END OF SEASON.

meh, I see what you're saying but that's really breaking it down too much, you might be thinking too hard. Keep it simple... Chargers the better team, they have the better QB by a mile, and if they win they are in. I think you're putting too much stock in some variables that we know nothing about. how much do you really know about Chase Daniel? The fact that Chiefs are still favored tells me that Vegas thinks fairly highly of him... for me, I don't know much about him so Ill stick with the better team (Chargers) with the better QB (Rivers)

If Carson Palmer had not been hurt who knows??? maybe the Cardinals would have been able to lock up home field advantage in the playoffs and Carson Palmer was playing great football before the injury.

If the Chargers really were the better team, they wouldn't be a 3 pt dog here. I think Chiefs beat them in San Diego earlier this season if I'm not mistaken.
