This one hurts, that kid was a gamer. Extended plays with the best of them. Tough break for the horny frogs, still think they were the better squad in waco.

I wonder what the line is going to be now & just how good the tcu back up QB is. I already had my eyes on okst before the fact. Hoping the line drops to a PK.

I think the line will hit 6.5, much sharper people than I probably had an inkling this was coming and crushed the 10's and 9's. Not sure the exact number boykin would go for on the spread but I think a TD is still good.

Now Boykin is listed as probable. I'll be on Ok St, terrible spot for TCU coming off two grinders against Okla and Baylor

UPDATE: We Seem to Have Made a Mistake

                      From This:

                      Original Report

Frogs O' War has learned that TCU starting quarterback Trevone Boykin underwent surgery on Monday evening to repair his left wrist, and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks.

Sources confirmed to Frogs O' War writer tylervr11 earlier today that Boykin underwent surgery to repair an injury to his left wrist.

Matt Joeckel will likely start in Boykin's place.

                      To THIS:

UPDATE (2:17 p.m.): It appears we have made a mistake.

This morning, I (Jamie) received word from one of our writers that Trevone Boykin had wrist surgery and was out for 4-6 weeks. As he worked to confirm this with his sources, I made multiple attempts to reach out to TCU's SID Mark Cohen for confirmation/comment.

I then received word that my writer had confirmed with multiple sources that the story was legitimate, I made the call to publish the article.

As of now, it appears that a trick had been played on the multiple sources relaying information to our writer.

As the Managing Editor of Frogs O' War, I want to issue a sincere apology to TCU, Trevone Boykin, and the college football community. Frogs O' War prides itself on relaying accurate information to the public and in this instance, we have failed.

I wonder if the initiators of the false report got down big bets on TCU -6.5 before it came off the second time.

                              That would be my guess.

So many injury reports don't mean anything anymore

Talent wise I agree, but emotional wise TCU could be demoralized after last week.

Puts THEMSELVES in a vulnerable spot, which is good for players with the right info. Books are ahead of the injury reports 99% of the time anyway, this one just fell in the 1%.
