Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Derrick Lewis Odds & UFC 324 Fight Info: Knockout Power on Display

It's a heavyweight clash with some serious knockout power on display, but our Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Derrick Lewis odds and UFC 324 analysis aren't so sure it's going to factor into the end result. And some great news? You don't even need pay-per-view to see this one out, as for the first time in more than four years we're getting a numbered UFC card without PPV.
You'll need Paramount+, however, which will carry all of the action from the early prelims at 5 p.m. ET through the main card, which starts at 9 p.m. ET. T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is going to be rocking, but you can do the same at home while you line your pockets.
🆚 Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Derrick Lewis live odds
Here are the odds from our best UFC betting sites for Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Derrick Lewis, which update in real time.
Moneyline analysis
According to the UFC 324 odds, Cortes-Acosta is a big favorite to come out on top on Saturday. And it makes sense: Cortes-Acosta has more ways to get the job done than Lewis.
Of the two, Lewis carries the bigger threat to land a single early punch KO win. Twenty-four of his 29 career wins have come via KO/TKO, with just one coming via submission. On the other hand, only eight of Cortes-Acosta's 16 wins have come via KO/TKO (with one submission). "Salsa Boy" woos the judges more often, and that can come in handy if he doesn't just drop Lewis with a KO/TKO of his own.
Total rounds analysis
When two bangers like this square off, it's not surprising to see the total rounds set at Over/Under 1.5. While the market shades to the Over, I'm shading to the Under. I totally respect that Cortes-Acosta drags fights on and heads to points regularly, but there's simply too much stopping power with this one to pass up the Under option. These fighters have the ability to end things in the first round, and both have stated publicly they intend to knock the other out. I'm going to hope they make it a reality.
Method of victory odds

| Waldo Cortes-Acosta | Method of victory | Derrick Lewis |
|---|---|---|
| -105 | KO/TKO/DQ | +360 |
| +2000 | Submission | +4500 |
| +300 | Decision (Points) | +1000 |
Cortes-Acosta is coming in off back-to-back first-round KO/TKO wins, and while I'm not sure he'll stop Lewis in the first round necessarily, there are simply so many reasons to back him to win by KO/TKO/DQ. Even if he can't get it done in the first round, Lewis is likely to fade after a fast start as he tank empties, and Cortes-Acosta will have ample opportunity to display his superior technical striking with consistent output, giving him plenty of chances to stop this fight.
