UFC 307 Odds: Latest Pereira vs. Rountree Betting Lines
The light heavyweight strap is on the line when the champ Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr. square off on Saturday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City. We break down the whole card in our look at the UFC 307 odds and betting lines from our best UFC betting sites.
Since stepping up to the light heavyweight division in 2003, Pereira is a perfect 4-0. That run includes when he earned the strap against Jiri Prochazka in November. The Brazilian defended his title twice this year, first at UFC 300 against Jamahal Hill in April and recently against Prochazka at UFC 303 in June.
The packed card also features a second title fight, as Raquel Pennington will look to defend against Julianna Pena for the women's bantamweight strap. Rocky earned the title in January with a unanimous decision victory over Mayra Bueno Silva at UFC 297.
Here’s our breakdown of the UFC 307 odds and betting lines for Saturday's full card to help with your UFC picks (odds via our best sports betting sites).
UFC 307 odds - Main card
Odds via bet365 last updated Thursday at 6:45 a.m. ET.
Fight | Favorite | Underdog |
---|---|---|
Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. | Pereira (-500) | Rountree Jr. (+380) |
Raquel Pennington vs. Julianna Pena | Pennington (-170) | Pena (+140) |
Mario Bautista vs. Jose Aldo | Bautista (-138) | Aldo (+110) |
Kayla Harrison vs. Ketlen Vieira | Harrison (-1200) | Vieira (+700) |
Kevin Holland vs. Roman Dolidze | Holland (-150) | Dolidze (+125) |
While the oddsmakers seem pretty secure that the Pereira title defense should come through, the bulk of the action on the main card looks to be pretty tight.
The lone exception is the women's bantamweight tilt between Harrison and Vieira. While Vieira is ranked second in the division and Harrison third, the American fighter is now lined at -1200, moving up from -700 earlier in the week.
That carries an 92.31% implied win probability but profits just 83 cents on a successful $10 wager.
UFC 307 odds - Prelims
Odds via DraftKings last updated Wednesday 7 a.m. ET.
Fight | Favorite | Underdog |
---|---|---|
Joaquin Buckley vs. Stephen Thompson | Buckley (-225) | Thompson (+185) |
Iasmin Lucindo vs. Marina Rodriguez | Lucindo (-198) | Rodriguez (+150) |
Cesar Almeida vs. Ihor Potieria | Almeida (-375) | Potieria (+295) |
Austin Hubbard vs. Alexander Hernandez | Hernandez (-175) | Hubbard (+145) |
Hubbard and Hernandez were late to get a line as the latter filled in on short notice to replace Nate Landwehr, but he's marked as the favorite at our best sports betting apps.
Speaking of uphill battles, long-in-the-tooth Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson has dropped three of his last four bouts. His "Wonderboy" moniker is perhaps starting to lose its edge, as at 41 years old, he's the oldest fighter heading to the Octagon. His +185 odds profit $18.50 on a winning $10 bet if he can get back in the win column, but there's an implied win percentage of only 35.09% attached to the line.
UFC 307 odds - Early prelims

---|---|---|
Ryan Spann vs. Ovince Saint Preux | Spann (-265) | Saint Preux (+200) |
Tecia Pennington vs. Carla Esparza | Pennington (-180) | Esparza (+140) |
Tim Means vs. Court McGee | Means (-215) | McGee (+164) |
Welcome back to the Octagon, Carla Esparza. We last saw Cookie Monster when she was submitted to Weili Zhang nearly two years ago at UFC 281. And this will be the Team Oyama fighter's last bout, as she is set to lay down her gloves.
Her decorated career includes being the inaugural strawweight champion in 2014, although she failed to defend the strap in her next bout. Seven years later, she rose to the top of the strawweight division again, failing to defend her belt again, losing to Weili.
She's an underdog to close out her career. Her +140 odds imply a 41.67% chance she goes out on a high note, although a winning $10 bet would profit $14 if she can pull it off.

How to read UFC betting odds
Understanding UFC betting odds is essential for making informed wagers. Let's break it down with examples:
- Positive odds (+): Positive odds indicate the potential profit on a $100 wager. For instance, if a fighter has odds of +250, it means that a $100 bet on that fighter would yield a profit of $250 if they win the fight. So, your total payout would be $350 ($250 profit + $100 original stake).
- Negative odds (-): Negative odds represent the amount you need to wager to win $100 in profit. For example, if a fighter has odds of -150, it means that you would need to bet $150 to win $100 in profit if that fighter wins. Your total payout would be $250 ($100 profit + $150 original stake).
Now, let's consider an actual UFC betting scenario:
- Fighter A: +200
- Fighter B: -180
For Fighter A (+200), a $100 bet would result in a $200 profit, making the total payout $300. For Fighter B (-180), you would need to wager $180 to win $100 in profit, resulting in a total payout of $280.
Understanding these odds helps you evaluate the potential payout and implied probability of each fighter winning a UFC fight. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds signify a favorite.
