UFC 305 Odds - Latest Du Plessis vs. Adesanya Betting Lines
Crocodiles. Snakes. Blue-ring Octopuses. Great white sharks. All manner of spiders.
That's just some of the animals that live in Australia, but on Saturday at RAC Arena in Perth, they're not the most dangerous ones. We have you covered with our best UFC 305 odds and betting lines from our best UFC betting sites to help with your UFC predictions for Saturday's festivities.
The exciting card is filled with Aussies and Kiwis, including Israel Adesanya, who returns to the Octagon for the first time in nearly a year as he challenges middleweight title-holder Dricus Du Plessis.
A New Zealand vs. Australia match highlights the lead-up to the main event as Kai Kara-France faces Steve Erceg in a flyweight tilt. Long-in-the-tooth vet Kiwi Dan Hooker and heavyweight banger Tai Tuivasa will also undoubtedly have plenty of folks Down Under cheering for them on the main card.
UFC 305 odds - Main Card
Odds via our best sports betting sites last updated Friday at 5:20 a.m. ET. | 🔥 = best available odds | ❄️ = worst available odds
Dricus Du Plessis (21-2-0) vs. Israel Adesanya (24-3-0)
Fighter | DraftKings | FanDuel | BetMGM | Caesars | bet365 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Adesanya | -112 | -118 | -115 | -120 ❄️ | -110 🔥 |
Du Plessis | -108 | -104 | -105 | +100 🔥 | -110 ❄️ |
Last time we saw Adesanya, he was losing his strap to Sean Strickland. Almost a year away from the major upset he returns as the favorite to claim the title back from Du Plessis. For his part, the champ doesn't think that Izzy has it in him to pull off the victory.
The champ has an implied 50% chance to hang on to his belt based on his best odds at Caesars, where a winning $10 wager will net you $10 in profit. Themi Alexis dives deeper into the main event with his Du Plessis vs. Adesanya prediction.

Kai Kara-France (24-11-0) vs. Steve Erceg (12-2-0)
Fighter | DraftKings | FanDuel | BetMGM | Caesars | bet365 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Erceg | -175 | -168 🔥 | -182 ❄️ | -175 | -175 |
Kara-France | +145 | +136❄️ | +150 | +150 | +150 |
It's Kiwis vs. Aussies in the lead-up to the main event as two of the biggest names Down Under meet in the Octagon.
While only two years separate the fighters, underdog Kara-France is much more battle-tested, with nearly twice as many professional fights. But Erceg is the favorite despite being lower ranked in the division, with his best odds of -168 coming at FanDuel. He's given an implied win probability of 62.29%, and a win on a $10 wager would pay $15.95 for a profit of $5.95.
Mateusz Gamrot (24-2-0) vs. Dan Hooker (23-12-0)
Fighter | DraftKings | FanDuel | BetMGM | Caesars | bet365 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Gamrot | -345 | -340 🔥 | -370 | -350 | -350 |
Hooker | +275 | +260 ❄️ | +285🔥 | +275 | +275 |
Hooker may be a little longer in the tooth at 34 years old than Gamrot (33), but he should be well-rested with just one fight in the books since November 2022. He pulled out of fights twice last year, citing injuries, but he appears to be ready for his return this weekend.
But, in MMA, sometimes well-rested comes with ring rust, and the oddsmakers aren't giving him much of a shot at the upset. He's lined at +285 at BetMGM, which implies just a 25.97% chance of pulling the upset. It would hook a winning bettor up with a $28.50 profit on a $10 bet.
Tai Tuivasa (15-7-0) vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik (14-5-)
Fighter | DraftKings | FanDuel | BetMGM | Caesars | bet365 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Rozenstruik | -225 | -230 | -227 | -250 ❄️ | -225 |
Tuivasa | +185 | +186 | +185 | +200 | +187 🔥 |
It's been a long time since we've seen a Shoey from Tui(vasa), as the Australian heavyweight has dropped four straight fights dating back to early 2022. Bam Bam has been submitted in the first and second rounds in his last two bouts, but his opponent at UFC 305 doesn't offer much in the way of submission risk as he doesn't have a single career win via that method.
Rozenstruik is still a heavy favorite. The Suriname fighter from American Top Team has KO/TKO wins in two of his last three bouts, most recently over Shamil Gaziev in March. He's seeing the best line of -225 at a couple of our best sportsbooks, with an implied win probability of 69.23%, but would profit only $4.44 on a $10 bet.
Li Jingliang (19-8-0) vs. Carlos Prates (19-6-0)
Fighter | DraftKings | FanDuel | BetMGM | Caesars | bet365 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Prates | -375 ❄️ | -370 | -370 | -370 | -350 🔥 |
Li | +295 | +280 | +295 | +290 | +275 ❄️ |
This could be short if Prates can ruin Li's 10-0 record in KO/TKO fights. That's because the Brazilian favorite has recorded eight straight KO/TKO victories (although only the last two have been in the UFC).
Prates hasn't even been past the second round of a fight since 2019 when he picked up a unanimous decision victory in ONE Championship. And he's one of the heaviest favorites on the main card, where again BetMGM is offering the top line.
His -350 odds at bet365 have a high implied win probability - 77.78% - but result in a profit of only $2.86 on a $10 bet.

UFC 305 Prelims: Austalia vs. Brazil.
The countries squared off in the Olympics in beach volleyball, with Australia advancing to the Gold Medal game with the victory. That result is expected again on Saturday, as Aussies are lined as favorites in three of the four fights.
The lone place the Aussie isn't expected to come out on top is a women's flyweight tilt between Casey O'Neill and Luana Santos. The hometown fighter enters on a two-bout losing streak, while Santos comes in with three straight wins - one via KO/TKO, one via unanimous decision, and one via submission.
O'Neill is seeing +110 odds at bet365 to pull off the upset, an implied probability of 47.62% that would profit $11 on a winning $10 wager. Those odds have moved closer to a pick'em as the week progresses.
UFC 305 odds - Early prelims
Odds via FanDuel last updated Friday at 6:14 a.m. ET.
Fight | Favorite | Underdog |
---|---|---|
Tom Nolan vs. Alex Reyes | Nolan (-1400) | Reyes (+760) |
Song Kenan vs. Ricky Glenn | Song (-192) | Glenn (+154) |
Stewart Nicoll vs. Jesus Aguilar | Nicoll (-235) | Aguilar (+186) |
Australian Tom Nolan is the biggest favorite of any fighter on the card, coming in at -1400 at FanDuel. Those odds imply a 93.33% chance that the local boy will have his hand raised at the end of the fight, and if history repeats itself, that's likely to come quickly. It also profits only 71 cents on a $10 wager.
"Big Train" has two fights at the UFC level, being KO'd 1:03 into the first round of his debut vs. Nikolas Motta and KO'ing Victor Martinez at the 3:50 mark of the first round in his follow-up bout in May.

How to read UFC betting odds
Understanding UFC betting odds is essential for making informed wagers. Let's break it down with examples:
- Positive odds (+): Positive odds indicate the potential profit on a $100 wager. For instance, if a fighter has odds of +250, a $100 bet on that fighter would yield a profit of $250 if they win the fight. So, your total payout would be $350 ($250 profit + $100 original stake).
- Negative odds (-): Negative odds represent the amount you need to wager to win $100 in profit. For example, if a fighter has odds of -150, you would need to bet $150 to win $100 in profit if that fighter wins. Your total payout would be $250 ($100 profit + $150 original stake).
Now, let's consider an actual UFC betting scenario:
- Fighter A: +200
- Fighter B: -180
For Fighter A (+200), a $100 bet would result in a $200 profit, making the total payout $300. For Fighter B (-180), you would need to wager $180 to win $100 in profit, resulting in a total payout of $280.
Understanding these odds helps you evaluate the potential payout and implied probability of each fighter winning a UFC fight. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds signify a favorite.
