I think everyone is expecting this fight to be a fairly violent encounter between two very capable finishers. Prochazka sports an insane 97% finish rate in 32 pro wins, and has also been finished 100% of the time in his five career losses.

Both fighters are considered high-level strikers, but for very different reasons.

Ulberg comes from a traditional kickboxing background, where he was 19-2 as a pro and developed a tight, technical game. Prochazka is more of an unorthodox pressure fighter who tends to break opponents down as they start to slow down from his trepid pace. His two most recent losses were both by knockout against the highly regarded Alex Pereira, who is also known for his high-level kickboxing skills. Against superior technicians, Prochazka simply leaves too many openings, and I believe Ulberg will identify them and act accordingly to land a knockout win of his own in this matchup.

This is another fight I have to approach cautiously, as I have immense respect for the guy I'm betting against. That being said, Prochazka's cult following has been built around him being an offensive dynamo, but it largely ignores the fact that he's been finished in all five of his pro losses, including four times by knockout.

Nothing is ever free in this sport, but I put my faith in Carlos Ulberg to find the right path to victory and cash these tickets. And I'm going hardest at the total rounds, just in case.
