💰 Reyes vs. Walker best bet: Under 1.5 Rounds (-196)

Regardless of who wins, both fighters' win condition is to score an early finish. Reyes' last seven fights have all ended inside of two rounds, while Walker has only been past the second round once in his last eight fights.

They both have early fight-ending power as well as shaky striking defense and durability, so no matter which guy gets his game going first, someone is likely getting put away in under 1.5 total rounds. I'm still backing Dominick Reyes to win, but just in case he finds a way to blow it, this under ticket will help soften the blow.

Both fighters are hard to trust at this stage of their respective careers, but in a matchup that features two strikers with durability issues, I'm picking the more technical guy, a sharper all-around operator in Dominick Reyes.

Walker is a human tornado who is very dangerous but also a defensive liability, having been knocked out six times in his career. There are also some videos circulating online that show the Brazilian also getting knocked out while sparring in the gym, and all of it adds up to likely another concussion heading his way via a well-placed Reyes right hand.

Prediction: Dominick Reyes to win (-140 via FanDuel)

🩸 UFC 327 best bets

This isn't the only fight I'm breaking down for today's card. I've detailed my UFC 327 best bets for Miami, including a break down of the main event.

💡 How I'm handicapping Reyes vs. Walker

This is a tough fight to feel confident in financially, both guys are extremely volatile and inconsistent performers. Reyes is just 3-5 over his last eight fights and has been knocked out four times, while Walker is 4-4 himself with three losses by knockout.

Either is more than capable of taking out the other guy; it's just a question of who lands first. I'm approaching this fight very cautiously, as it's difficult to get overly optimistic considering the chaotic nature of the matchup. Take Reyes to win, but proceed with caution.
