This certainly won’t be an easy spot for Hooker, but he has all the elements necessary to stretch out and take advantage if Saint Denis fades late. Hooker cashed as an underdog at +240 and +210 underdog in his last two wins, against Jalin Turner and Mateusz Gamrot, respectively, using his superior cardio and pace to drag both men into deep waters before securing the win.
Training at the famed “City Kickboxing” gym in New Zealand, Hooker is a big fan favourite in Australia as well, and should benefit from the energy of the home crowd. None of Saint Denis’ last 10 fights have gone past the second round, and if Hooker can get him into the later stages of the fight, he will take advantage and make this a lot more competitive than his +275 price tag would suggest.

Five of his last seven contests have hit the over 1.5 mark and were often against lesser quality opponents than he’ll face tonight.
Hooker, meanwhile, hasn't been finished in under 1.5 rounds in over three years and just hit the over in his most recent fight against Arman Tsarukyan. Regardless of who wins this fight, taking the over on the round total looks like the way to go.
