Wolves vs. Tottenham Picks

  • Spread: Tottenham -1.5 (+110 via DraftKings)
  • Over/Under: Over 3.5 (+200 via FanDuel)
  • Prop: First goal Wolves (+240 via DraftKings)

Wolves vs. Tottenham ATS Pick

Tottenham -1.5 (+110)

Tottenham have scored six goals over their last two outings, while Wolverhampton had just one goal six minutes into the season and have not found the back of the net since.

Wolves' lack of scoring production will not only impact their ability to draw against an attack-heavy Spurs side, but also their defense has to be better or else the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, and Dejan Kulusevski will show no mercy.

If Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, and Ben Davies are all on the back line for Spurs, they will be able to stop any chances Wolverhampton may have. Expecting new signings like Matheus Nunes to hit the ground running against a strong Tottenham side doesn’t seem likely. Tottenham can run away with this match.

Wolves vs. Tottenham O/U Pick

Over 3.5 (+200)

A week ago, Tottenham managed to score two goals against Chelsea, the Premier League's third-best club last year. A weaker Wolves side will allow more goals than head coach Thomas Tuchel’s side did.

If the Wolves’ new signings can make the impact manager Bruno Lage expects, they can get at least one goal against Tottenham. One of Spurs' fatal flaws this season is tending to concede early.

Son is still looking for his first goal of the season, and with his late goal against Chelsea that salvaged a point, Kane now has the weight off his shoulders. He's ready to continue to produce alongside Kulusevski and Ryan Sessegnon.

Similar to their 4-1 victory over Southampton in the season opener, Spurs are looking at a game that has the ability to end 3-1 in their favor, and that would keep them in the top four of the Premier League standings.

Wolves vs. Tottenham Prop Pick

First goal: Wolves (+240 via DraftKings)

Tottenham have allowed their opponent to score first in both of their matches this season, with James Ward-Prowse netting the first goal for Southampton to open their season, and Kalidou Koulibaly opening the scoring for Chelsea.

While Spurs have the resilience and ability to bounce back and score goals of their own, they tend to start slow and allow a goal that forces them to jump into second gear and turn to win mode under head coach Antonio Conte.

Wolves also have not scored a goal in over 170 minutes this season and are desperate to be able to find some sort of scoring production. With Nunes likely to make his debut and have fresh ideas, he may be able to do it for Wolverhampton.
