USA kick off their 2024 Copa America campaign against Bolivia on Sunday from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as we explore the most appealing USA vs. Bolivia props and predictions based on the odds from our best soccer betting sites.

USA and Bolivia haven't faced each other since the former beat the latter, 3-0, in a 2018 friendly. The Americans are enormous consensus favorites to start the tournament with a victory against an inferior side that has won just once in their previous 14 matches. The United States have lost one of their last four, entering the tournament as the world's 11th-ranked side.

Sunday's match kicks off at 8 p.m. ET (Fox Sports) from Arlington, Texas. Gregg Berhalter's side own the fifth-shortest Copa America odds to win the tournament, while Bolivia is one of the least likely to achieve Copa America glory.

USA vs. Bolivia score prediction

USA 2, Bolivia 0

This match has all the makings of a comfortable United States victory. The question is, how comfortable? Bolivia will enter Sunday's proceedings full of hope, looking to frustrate the United States. They'll play a deep line, absorbing pressure while trying their utmost to prevent the favorites from consistently getting behind their rearguard.

In recent friendlies, Bolivia lost 1-0 to Mexico before losing 3-1 to Ecuador and 3-0 to Colombia. Friendlies aren't the best case studies to draw conclusions. Under head coach Antônio Zago, who took the reins in October, Bolivia won one of three World Cup qualifiers - losing 1-0 to Paraguay, winning 2-0 versus Peru, and losing 3-0 to Argentina.

Bolivia can hold out for a respectable result if the United States fail to score early. I feel it will either be 2-0 or 3-0, leaning toward the former thanks to the occasion's significance. Bolivia should acquit themselves more fiercely and competitively at a major tournament, especially as it's the opener.

USA vs. Bolivia anytime goal scorer prediction

Christian Pulisic, USA

Christian Pulisic oozes quality. Individually, he's head and shoulders better than every Bolivian player, most of whom ply their trade in Bolivia's domestic league. In the 2023-24 season, Pulisic scored 15 goals in 50 matches with AC Milan. He netted five times in the last eight matches with the United States and has 29 goals in 68 international caps.

Bolivia's deep defensive line should allow space for Pulisic to attack. He'll be permitted to let loose with long-range shots all day should he desire to pull the trigger. He's also superb in dead-ball situations, which there should be many. Bolivia plays a physically dogged style, trying to make up for the disparity in skill. It's an idyll scenario for Pulisic to unleash his devastating left foot. In addition, he has a knack for making perfectly timed runs into the box, becoming the late attacker. That could be an effective way to break down this Bolivian defense.

Best bet: USA to win + Under 3.5 total goals

There's absolutely no value in backing the United States on the moneyline without adding another aspect to the wager. Despite failing to keep a clean sheet in five of their previous six matches, I don't see the United States conceding against Bolivia. Bolivia scored once in their last three matches and netted a goal in two of their previous five World Cup qualifiers.

The Americans should score at least two, possibly three. As long as Bolivia don't capitulate or open up in their attempt to chase the game, the Under 3.5 market offers the best value and is the most feasible wager. At -115, BetMGM's odds represent a 53.49% probability. A $10 bet pays a profit of $8.70 if it hits.
