My Sunderland vs. Bournemouth prediction expects the home side to struggle to keep a clean sheet Saturday at the Stadium of Light, where the action starts at 10 a.m. on Peacock+.

Despite both teams being level on 19 points, my Premier League best bets focus on +135 favorite Bournemouth making things interesting, and possibly threatening Sunderland’s unbeaten record at home.

⚽ Sunderland vs. Bournemouth preview & score prediction

Sunderland’s unbeaten record at home could be in danger this weekend.

The Black Cats welcome a Bournemouth side that’s built a reputation as one of the best attacking teams in the Premier League this season.

Given Bournemouth’s threat in the final third and Sunderland's strong attacking performances at home, I’m targeting both teams to score Saturday at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland’s defense set for another difficult test

Sunderland, who have won three and drawn three at home, shouldn’t have any problem scoring after averaging almost two goals per game at the Stadium of Light. They even scored twice in a 2-2 draw with Arsenal, the league’s best team.

But they’ve only managed to keep two clean sheets at home, which bodes well for a Bournemouth side that’s scored 19 goals in 12 games and is averaging 1.5 goals on the road this season.

While I’m expecting both teams to score and the game to end in a draw, the availability of Antoine Semenyo could shift the odds in Bournemouth’s favor if the Ghanaian forward, who has six goals and three assists, returns from injury Saturday.

A winning $10 bet on both teams scoring delivers a profit of $7.70 at -130 odds at bet365.

Score prediction: Sunderland 2, Bournemouth 2

🆚 Sunderland vs. Bournemouth matchup to watch

Granit Xhaka vs. Bournemouth’s defense

There’s still lots of football left, but Granit Xhaka might be the signing of the season if he continues to shine for Sunderland.

The 33-year-old has been one of the major influences behind Sunderland’s success this season, registering one goal and a team-leading three assists in the Premier League.

While he’s known to unleash shots from distance, the former Arsenal midfielder boasts exceptional vision, as he leads the Black Cats with 16 chances created.

I’m backing him to come up big again with a goal contribution against Bournemouth.

Best prop bet: Granit Xhaka to score or assist (+340 via DraftKings)
