Egypt don't have the same pedigree, with nine of their 11 quarterfinal starters playing in the Egyptian Premier League, which ordinarily offers an inferior product. France will provide a much sterner test than Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, and Uzbekistan, Egypt's previous opponents.
