The La Liga giants won't be intimidated by playing at St. James' Park. Hansi Flick has this team turned around from last season's struggles, with Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal in particular playing excellent football. Barcelona emerged from Newcastle with a 2-1 victory to start the league phase, and that was without Yamal.
Both teams have a slew of injuries to overcome in this tie, but Newcastle will be without Bruno, Lewis Miley, and Fabian Schar. The midfield and backline are a mess, and Barcelona will take advantage and come away with a win regardless of Livramento's impending return.

Sandro Tonali Over 1.5 fouls committed (+140)
Newcastle struggled with possession the first time these teams met, having just 36% of the ball. That's a recipe for disaster for a midfield tasked with stopping Barcelona's loaded attack, especially a midfield that will once again be without Bruno. Tonali will have his hands full playing a "disruption" role against Pedri and Dani Olmo throughout the game.
While Tonali's domestic foul numbers aren't through the roof, he averaged 1.4 per game across the league phase and the knockout playoffs, hitting this prop in four of nine starts (including against Barcelona in the first meeting).
As a potential bonus, Marco Guida will be the referee for the game. He's known for his strict control of matches and might not hesitate to jump on Tonali early to set the tone.

I mentioned before, but it bears repeating: Hansi Flick has turned things around for Lamine Yamal. He's evolved from a player who was a touchline-hugging winger to someone playing more of a hybrid playmaker role, stepping up as a "False 10." And it's paying off.
The 18-year-old has 19 goals and 14 assists across all competitions, both numbers that pace a strong offensive Barcelona side. He averaged 1.06 goals + assists/90 in the league phase, and that was without the luxury of playing a Newcastle side dealing with an injury crisis.
The Magpies are vulnerable defensively, having failed to keep a clean sheet in almost two months. Barcelona should score a couple, and Lamine Yamal will be involved.

You can combine it all to make a reasonable SGP for Tuesday's Champions League game. Barcelona to win and the Over 2.5 goals go well hand-in-hand, and it wouldn't be altogether shocking to see Barcelona leave with a 3-1 victory, covering the 2.5 line on its own. We'll go to Lamine Yamal as our third piece, as that should slot in nicely. The longest play that we'll add is the Tonali fouls, I think that will come through for us but fouls can be a tough one to nail down. While I like the other three to work together very well, they could easily all hit, and he could walk away with one foul.

Generally for any given champions league game I'm good for around two units. This one I'll step up a little bit because of Newcastle's inconsistent play and injury crisis combined with Barcelona's pedigree and already shown the ability to get it done in Tyneside.
If the odds for Barcelona were longer, +150 or so, I'd probably step that up to 1.5 units. I'll also probably play both the 3-leg and the 4-leg SGPs at 0.2 units, instead of just the four-leg mentioned above.

Following Bruno being officially ruled out, and (another) loss to Manchester City for Newcastle at the weekend, money has steamed in on the Catalans. The best price on Barcelona, in the +145 range, has long past us. Given the club's status, it wouldn't be shocking to see this line shorten even more, but it won't get a lot shorter.
The total opened at -170 and has been steamed up as the public - probably correctly - has backed the Over 2.5 goals. If this gets a great deal longer than -225 for the total it will probably become a full lay off for me. I tend not to get too deep into the 3.5 lines when I do, although 0.25 units wouldn't be out of line if you wanted some money on the total.

Newcastle has been wildly inconsistent across their last 10 games, and I've lot to chalk that up to three games against Manchester City. But, it also includes home losses to Everton and Brentford (both 3-2), so it's too simply to say that it's simply the competition. The injury crisis has left the team thin, resulting in tired legs.
Barcelona has been mostly solid, with eight victories across their last 10 games. A 4-3 aggregate defeat in the Copa del Rey to Atletico is going to leave the Catalan's hungry to make a strong statement in England to kick off the knockout rounds.
