As touched on before, Inter Miami escaped with their lives in the opening 45 minutes of the tournament. Thanks to keeper Oscar Ustari, who made eight saves, the Herons made it to the interval without conceding.

Many of those eight stops were a high degree of difficulty, including a penalty against Trezeguet, which he anticipated correctly.

Inter Miami is not known for its defensive prowess, as demonstrated by their 10-match run without a clean sheet before the opening Club World Cup match.

Aghehowa should be primed to take advantage of that susceptible rearguard. He scored 25 goals in all competitions this season and was at his most prolific in the Europa League, where he netted six in nine matches.
