Matthew Tkachuk is a big-game player, and he's due for his moment at the 2026 Olympics.
While he's yet to find the back of the net at Milano Cortina, he's been heavily a part of the action, including as a net-front presence on the Americans' top power-play unit. I think that's where he breaks through today with his first goal as an Olympian. I bet Tkachuk to score at FanDuel's +165 odds, but I would pay up to +150 on a goal from the Panthers superstar today.

Matt Boldy has been one of the USA's most volume-heavy shooters. He's recorded at least three shots on goal in three straight games at the Olympics.
Slovakia doesn't have the defensive core to keep shots away from their net, meaning we can expect a ton of shot volume from the U.S. today, led by Boldy's shoot-first mentality. I bet this at +115, but there's value up to -110.
Dalibor Dvorsky 1+ points (+116)
Dalibor Dvorsky has been sensational in his first Olympics, with a point in every game he's played.
With three goals and three assists, the Blues forward became the first NHL rookie ever to record six points at the Olympics - a mark previously held by Alex Ovechkin and others. While the red-hot Juraj Slafkovsky will garner the most attention from the Americans, I'm targeting Dvorsky to have the space to contribute to another score for his country. I'd bet this player prop at any plus-money odds.

I placed one unit each on two of USA's top performers in this tournament - Tkachuk and Boldy - who I see both having matchup advantages to exploit today.
Slovakia's side of this matchup is harder to project, given the strength of Team USA. But they have looked strong against the likes of Finland, Sweden, and Germany - which was why I had to put 0.5 units on the line on the impressive rookie Dvorsky.
