Connor McDavid Over 1.5 points (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

McDavid endured an off night in Montreal on Sunday. I'm blaming that on fatigue after he played the previous night in Toronto. The Oilers captain scored at least two points in the last five encounters, including three against the Maple Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada. 

If you can believe it, he's even more dominant when he faces the Penguins.

McDavid has four multi-point outings in the previous five meetings against the Pens, accumulating 12 points. He has an outrageous 20 points in the last eight games against Pittsburgh, and I expect it to continue against his former netminder, Stuart Skinner.

Lane Hutson Over 0.5 assists (-145) ⭐⭐⭐

Hutson is sizzling, which his short odds to notch at least one helper reflect. Those -145 odds at BetMGM imply a 59.18% probability. He's lining up against the Philadelphia Flyers on the back of three straight two-assist outings. 

He also had two assists when he played the Flyers in Montreal in April and notched two helpers the last time he faced Philly in the City of Brotherly Love. The short odds are the only reason this isn't a four-star pick.

Matthews has two goals in the previous three games, and he scored the last time the Chicago Blackhawks played at Scotiabank Arena. Since he returned to the lineup, Matthews has ramped up his shoot-first mentality, averaging four shots over the nine-game sample size. 

The Blackhawks have lost four of the last five games, allowing at least four goals in three of those defeats. Matthews is a streaky scorer, and I believe one of those rampant stints is forthcoming.
