My NHL player props for today's action feature two goal-scorer picks and two assist props, with Sidney Crosby, Macklin Celebrini, Mark Scheifele, and Leo Carlsson under the spotlight. 

Scheifele has a sound track record against the Buffalo Sabres, and it hasn't mattered who Carlsson lines up against, with the prolific forward amassing assists like steps on a Fitbit. Crosby and Celebrini, meanwhile, will look to add to their impressive goal tallies.

Scheifele has 18 assists in 24 games, but only one in the last four. However, he consistently posts helpers against the Sabres, with five in the previous five meetings.  

The Jets have just come out of the other side of a slump, securing their first win in five games. It could mean it's time to put a winning streak together, and Scheifele's chances of securing at least one assist look good against the league's sixth-worst defensive team.

And the 20-year-old posted an assist the last time he played at Enterprise Center against the St. Louis Blues. Despite improving recently, the Blues still allow the fifth-most goals per game at home (3.64). 

There's almost no difference in the odds offered at the best sports betting apps, which range from -113 to -116.

🔥 Sidney Crosby (+180) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Crosby is on pace for a career-high 54 goals. His previous best was 51 in 2009-10. Sid has 16 goals in 24 games and has scored three in the last two. He's been a pillar of consistency, scoring eight goals at home and on the road. 

He scored on his last visit to Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia and has three in the previous five meetings with the Flyers. FanDuel is the sportsbook to lock this one, thanks to its +180 odds. Those odds imply a 35.71% probability, and a winning $10 bet will profit $18. 

BetMGM, offering +170, is at the low end of the market.

The San Jose Sharks superstar has 14 goals in 26 games. While the 19-year-old has scored just one goal in the last six, he has feasted on the Utah Mammoth recently. 

Celebrini scored a hat trick the last time the teams met on Nov. 18 at SAP Center. He has four goals in the previous two meetings against the Mammoth. I like that streak to continue tonight.
