My NHL player props today feature a player who is hotter than the surface of the sun. That's probably why nobody can get near Nikita Kucherov, who enters tonight's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on a nine-game multi-point streak. 

It's easy to see why the Tampa Bay Lightning have won 10 in a row. I'm also backing Leon Draisaitl to feast on the Predators, with my projections expecting Auston Matthews and Jason Robertson to light the lamp. The picks below are part of the NHL best bets series, offered daily.

💰 Best NHL player prop bet today: Nikita Kucherov Over 1.5 points (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kucherov is the league's undisputed hottest player, although Connor McDavid would have some choice words about that assertion. Kucherov notched at least two points in nine straight games, and he usually scorches the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He has 20 points in the last 10 meetings against the flightless birds, registering eight in the previous three. The Lightning are on a 10-game winning run, which should also bode well.

Auston Matthews, Maple Leafs, Anytime goal (+135) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Matthews netted seven goals in the previous six games, including on Monday in Colorado. His goal against the Avalanche in the third period was Matthews at his best, with the Maple Leafs captain showing off a world-class toe-drag. 

With a solid track record against the Utah Mammoth, and previously the Arizona Coyotes, I'm confident he'll score his 23rd goal.

Matthews scored in the previous meeting against the Mammoth and netted against Arizona the last time the Maple Leafs played the extinct franchise.

Leon Draisaitl, Oilers, Over 1.5 points (+106) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Draisaitl notched at least two points in two of the previous four games, registering five. Draisaitl has seven points in the last four games, but most importantly, he is facing a Nashville Predators team he posted at least two points against in five of the last seven meetings.

That includes a run of three straight against them. Draisaitl amassed an outrageous 26 points in the previous 10 head-to-heads with the Preds.

Connor McDavid has also owned the Preds, and our Liam Fox targets him to light the lamp in his NHL anytime goal scorer predictions today.

Jason Robertson, Stars, Anytime goal (+125) ⭐⭐⭐

Robertson has been one of my most profitable anytime goal props this season. Sure, I haven't utilized the Team USA reject in some time, but he's back to his scoring ways, netting four in the previous six. 

He enters the game against the sliding Anaheim Ducks on a two-game goal-scoring streak. The Ducks are enduring an infamous tailspin, having lost nine straight. Robertson lit the lamp against Anaheim twice in the last meeting between these two teams.
