We have NHL hockey on all day on Saturday with 10 games on the docket. For our top NHL parlay picks, I’m looking at two road favorites in good spots and an undervalued shots on goal total.

Here are my top parlay picks for Saturday’s NHL matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5 star scale).

Saturday's NHL Parlay Picks

NHL Parlay Predictions

Avalanche (-175)

The Avalanche got center Nathan MacKinnon back on Friday and scored six unanswered goals to overcome a 3-0 first-period deficit against the Winnipeg Jets. They’ll get right back at it in Las Vegas, against a Golden Knights team that lost 3-1 to the Arizona Coyotes on Friday. Not only did Vegas lose the game, but wingers Max Pacioretty and Mattias Janmark left the game due to injuries as well.

Colorado started its backup goalie on Friday, which means Darcy Kuemper will start against Vegas. He had a rough start last time out with five goals allowed to the Boston Bruins, but he’s been great in 2022 with a 12-1-2 record and .931 save percentage.

Vegas is still without goaltender Robin Lehner so it’ll be third-stringer Logan Thompson on Saturday. He has been OK in two starts, going 1-1-0 with a .935 SV%, and he has decent AHL numbers with a .925 SV%, but this is the Avalanche we're talking about.

The Avalanche have thrived on no rest this season with five wins in six tries. On the other hand, the Golden Knights are 2-2-1 in the second half of a back-to-back.

Colorado has won four of five games (and six of eight). Vegas has lost four of five (and six of 10). Back the Avs to start our NHL parlay picks, even if the line continues to drop after opening at -125.

Backlund Over 2.5 SOG (+100)

Getting Backlund Over 2.5 shots on goal at even money seems like a steal. He’s had at least three shots on goal in six of eight games since the All-Star break, including six of seven at home. Going back a bit further, he has 55 shots over his last 14 games, with three or more shots in 11 of them.

Backlund had only one shot on goal on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks, but he had seven shot attempts –– just most of them were blocked or missed the net.

Backlund is back at home and the Flames are looking to bounce back. He should be firing the puck again and clear the Over 2.5 shots on goal.

Bruins (-180)

I don’t usually like adding such a steep favorite to the parlay, especially with the Avalanche already, but this is a great spot for the Bruins.

Boston has won three straight games, including two on the road, and the San Jose Sharks just snapped their seven-game losing skid with a shootout win over the New York Islanders on Thursday. Mind you, the Sharks were outshot 47-28 in that game by a New York team that isn’t all that great offensively.

The Bruins got left winger Brad Marchand back from suspension last game and he should help them on Saturday in San Jose. They now have a full top six with center Patrice Bergeron having played a few games since his head injury as well.

Boston also has the advantage in the crease with Jeremy Swayman (11-7-3, .925 SV%, 2.09 GAA) against James Reimer (14-11-5, .913 SV%, 2.90 GAA). On top of that, the Bruins have the third-best expected goals for percentage at 5-on-5 (55.49%) over the past two months while the Sharks rank 23rd (46.95%).

The Bruins are the better team and winning on the road hasn’t been a problem for them (14-7-3). They’ll get the victory in San Jose to complete our NHL parlay picks.

Combined NHL Parlay Odds: Avalanche (-175) + Backlund Over 2.5 shots (+100) + Bruins (-180) = +388
