I'm featuring three of Tuesday's early games in my NHL player props today. 

The Buffalo Sabres are as hot as a chicken Vindaloo, so I'm featuring two of their in-form players. Nikita Kucherov is amassing points faster than a professional darts player, and Matthew Tkachuk looks to build on his first hat trick of the season.

Alex Tuch anytime goal (+150) vs. Sharks

Tuch has three goals in the previous two games after not scoring in six. But what instills the most confidence is his penchant for lighting the lamp against the Sharks. 

Tuch scored a goal in five of the previous six meetings with San Jose and six of the last eight. The Sabres have won seven in a row, scoring 25 in the previous five games. San Jose, meanwhile, conceded 17 in the last four road games. 

FanDuel has the best price of the best sports betting sites, and I'd play the bet to +140.

Nikita Kucherov Over 1.5 points (-118) vs. Blue Jackets  

Kucherov notches at least 2 points more times than hockey players tell journalists the key to winning a game is "to get pucks in deep."

Tampa's wizard has seven points in the previous two games, which includes a four-point outburst against Buffalo. And he amasses points against the Columbus Blue Jackets more readily than NHL players verbally joust their opponents.

He has five multi-point games against them in the previous six games, accumulating an outrageous 16 points in that sample size. The Lightning should be in a sour mood after letting the Buffalo game slip through its hands, and the Blue Jackets allowed 10 in the last two games. 

Josh Doan Over 2.5 shots (+126) vs. Sharks 

Doan is contributing at a higher rate than most expected for the Sabres, and he's been firing the puck a lot recently, too. The 24-year-old has attempted 21 shots in the last three games, and hit the Over on this total in five of the previous seven contests. 

The Sharks allow the second-most shots per game (30.3), and the Sabres have the second-most shots per game on home ice (30.6). The plus-money odds are a nice little bonus. 

Matthew Tkachuk anytime goal (+190) vs. Red Wings  

Tkachuk scored his first hat trick of the season on Friday in Detroit. He's had four full days off and should be refreshed, ready to do it all over against those very same Red Wings. 

The 28-year-old scored a goal in his last three games at Amerant Bank Arena, adding another appealing layer to this prop, which would profit $19 on a winning $10 bet. I'd play the bet to +170.

The Sabres are flying, bursting with confidence. That's why I've picked two players to make a difference against a Sharks team that is poor defensively on the road. 

Kucherov is historically dynamite against the Blue Jackets, and he had a recent four-game run without scoring two points. The megastar scores in bunches, especially against Columbus. 

While I'm confident Tkachuk will score, I'm only investing half a unit ($5) because he has only eight goals in 16 games this season.
