My NHL player props today feature two players from each conference, expecting a former Hart Trophy odds winner to wake up from his early-season slumber.

Nikita Kucherov has not been his usual prolific self to start the campaign, with just three points in four games. He missed the last two games through illness but has been skating since Tuesday.
I expect a regenerated Kucherov against the Chicago Blackhawks, ready and primed for the challenge that awaits. Kucherov's only multi-point game thus far came in the season opener, a two-goal performance against the Ottawa Senators.

⬆️ David Pastrnak Over 3.5 shots (-140) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not only should playing the Anaheim Ducks at home provide a favorable matchup for Pastrnak, but the Boston Bruins' MVP is also enjoying a productive shooting patch. That's not unusual, though, as Pastrnak is usually among the highest-volume shooters.

Draisaitl has four goals in seven games, a modest return from last season's Rocket Richard winner. However, the player with the league's most effective one-timer potted a goal in both home games. He netted 24 goals in 35 games at Rogers Place last season and scored a goal in five of the previous six meetings with the Montreal Canadiens.
He might get the added benefit of playing a slightly fatigued team, as the Canadiens faced Calgary on Wednesday, which required overtime. The -110 price is the least appealing thing about this prop, as the minus-money odds will only profit $9.09 if he scores his fifth.
🔥 Mark Scheifele (+155) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
One of the hottest goal-scorers, Scheifele has at least a goal in five straight, scoring six. He is one goal behind the league lead, shared by three players. He has only 4.4 expected goals, highlighting how ruthless he's been in front of the net. While Scheifele's streak will end soon, I'm counting on him extending it by at least one game.
A home matchup against a Seattle Kraken team, which allows the fifth-most goals per game on the road, tied with the New York Islanders, provides an ideal opportunity to extend his run to six games. A winning $10 bet at FanDuel will profit $15.50.
