Devils vs. Golden Knights Player Props: Stone Doing Heavy Lifting for Vegas Offense

Vegas is a different beast with Mark Stone in the lineup, and I expect another productive outing from the captain in my Devils vs. Golden Knights player props.

My Devils vs. Golden Knights player props for tonight's game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (10 p.m. ET, TNT) expect Mark Stone's prolific run to continue since returning to the lineup.

The Golden Knights are the -185 moneyline betting favorite, and my NHL best bets below feature two other Golden Knights, one of whom might not be playing quite at peak level, which I've taken into consideration.

♞ Golden Knights a different beast with Mark Stone

Stone was out for six weeks with an injury but returned to the ice as if he hadn't missed a single day. The Golden Knights captain scored at least a point in eight straight games upon his return to the lineup, notching 11 in that stint.

The Golden Knights' last game against Columbus marked the first time he failed to register at least one point since re-joining his triumphant return. He has been the catalyst in the Golden Knights' revival, who have won six of the previous seven games.

Mark Stone Over 1.5 points (+220) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stone notched two points in three of the previous four games, all of which were on the latest road trip. He gets to play at home against a Devils team that is among the 10 worst road defenses.

He's playing exactly the same way he did before sustaining the injury, and that's a scary prospect for any opponent, let alone one enduring free fall. The +220 odds make it a 5-star play. I also backed Stone in my NHL player props

🚑️ Jack Eichel status uncertain

  • According to Danny Webster, who covers the Golden Knights for the NHL, Jack Eichel left practice early Tuesday due to an illness. However, the sports betting sites are still listing odds for all of his prop picks

Mitch Marner Over 0.5 assists (-125) ⭐⭐⭐

Marner has at least one assist in seven of the previous nine games and exploded with three in the last contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

While still a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs, he posted three helpers in the previous two meetings against New Jersey. The short odds reduce it to a 3-star play.

Jack Eichel Over 0.5 assists (-142) ⭐⭐⭐

I had every intention of backing Eichel to register at least two points tonight, especially considering he has achieved that feat in four of the previous five games.

Unfortunately, he left practice on Tuesday due to a reported illness. He'll probably play, but he might not be at his elite best. That could prevent him from padding the stats. I feel more comfortable banking on a single assist. Due to the short odds, it's only a 3-star play.
