I had to do a double-take when I saw the odds we're being offered by FanDuel on an anytime Scheifele goal tonight.
The Winnipeg Jets star forward ranks fourth league-wide with nine goals on the season and scored twice against the Los Angeles Kings - his opponent tonight - just last month.
Scheifele continues to pick his spots very well, with a 30% shooting percentage on the season, 13 points higher than teammate Kyle Connor, another one of the NHL's top goal scorers.
He's not quite on the torrid pace he was to start the campaign, but Scheifele is a great play at this price. The +180 odds translate to an implied probability of 35.71%, with a $10 bet netting an $18 profit.

Hagel has scored in four straight games after failing to light the lamp across his first eight appearances this season.
He also put at least three shots on goal in each of the last four games. Hagel is starting to make good on his solid underlying numbers and is still due for a couple more goals to come his way, with 2.7 goals below expected, according to MoneyPuck.
