My best Titans vs. Broncos player props take a lopsided betting line into account ahead of the Week 1 opener for Denver and Tennessee.

Kickoff is slated for 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX) from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver. Sean Payton's squad is an 8-point betting favorite. As such, my NFL picks expect the hosts to ask less of Bo Nix, a hunch reflected below in my best bets.

Our NFL predictions for Week 1 bring you analysis and expert picks from across the league as Week 1 continues on Sunday.

⬇️ Bo Nix Under 218.5 Passing Yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This number is two yards lower than Nix's per-game average in 2024, and many expect the young quarterback to build on last year's promising rookie campaign. However, I don't expect Nix to put up gaudy numbers versus the Titans - largely because the Broncos won't need him to.

Denver could potentially close as the biggest favorite in Week 1, meaning there's strong potential for the Broncos to hold a comfortable lead in the second half. If that's the case, look for Sean Payton to run the ball down the throat of a Tennessee defense that ranked 26th against the rush last year.

BetMGM had the most favorable odds for Nix Under passing yards backers at the time of writing, with its 218.5 total eight yards higher than what was posted at FanDuel. The -115 odds imply a 53.5% probability and could generate an $8.70 profit on a $10 bet.

⬆️ Cam Ward Over 12.5 Rushing Yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

It's hard to know what to expect out of Ward in his first career NFL start, but one thing seems certain: he won't have much time to survey the field. Denver led the NFL in sacks last year, while the Titans ranked 27th in pass block win rate per ESPN.

If Ward doesn't have much time in the pocket, I expect him to pull the ball down and scramble, rather than forcing passes into coverage. Reckless quarterback play cost the Titans badly last season, so we should see an increased focus on limiting turnovers. Ward also displayed a willingness to run with the football last year with the Miami Hurricanes, averaging more than four rushes per game.

BetMGM and Sports Interaction were among several sportsbooks who offer -110 odds on Ward Over 12.5 rushing yards, implying a 52.4% probability and returning $9.09 on a $10 bet. FanDuel also has Ward’s rushing yards at 12.5 but with the Over juiced slightly to -114.

🔥 J.K. Dobbins anytime touchdown (+160) ⭐⭐

Broncos coach Sean Payton has a long history of heavily using his running backs in the passing game, and that strategy has the potential to pay off against the Titans. Although Tennessee allowed the second-fewest passing yards in the NFL last year, it allowed a league-high seven receiving touchdowns to running backs.

J.K. Dobbins is expected to split time with rookie RJ Harvey this season, but Dobbins seems likely to get the lion’s share of the workload in Week 1. Even if Dobbins doesn’t catch a touchdown pass, there’s also a strong chance he finds the end zone on the ground after rushing for nine scores last season.

DraftKings offers the most generous return on a Dobbins touchdown, returning $16 on a $10 bet with a 38.5% implied probability.

With the strong potential for a Broncos blowout victory, I’m backing the Under on Bo Nix’s passing yards. I’m also betting Cam Ward to go Over his rushing yards total, and I like J.K. Dobbins’ chances of scoring a touchdown.

How do NFL player props work?

Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds markets.
