As if the AFC playoff picture wasn't confusing enough, the Jacksonville Jaguars put the league on notice with a convincing win over the Denver Broncos to stay in contention for the No. 1 seed.

The Broncos still rank among the top five in the latest Super Bowl odds after Week 16, trailing the betting favorite Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks after their Thursday night thriller. The Buffalo Bills sit just behind those two after a close win on Sunday, slotting just ahead of Denver and the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Here's a live look at the Super Bowl odds and the biggest storylines this week:

The Broncos entered this week with the best record in the AFC after winning 11 consecutive games to clinch their first division title in a decade. But they looked simply outmatched in Sunday's 34-20 home loss to the Jaguars, who look like the best value in the Super Bowl market after yet another signature win.

Jacksonville scored 17 straight points against Denver's vaunted defense to break a 17-17 tie and take control of this Week 16 tilt, propelling the Jaguars to an 11-4 record and keeping their narrow hopes alive for the No. 1 seed. Trevor Lawrence (279 yards, 3 TD) continued his incredible streak with a combined 12 touchdowns to zero interceptions in the last four weeks to help guide his team to a sixth straight win.

The Jags' defense has been a sticking point for this team to be considered an elite unit, as has this sometimes shaky passing attack. Both units looked dialed in on Sunday, though, which is a good sign for those backing Liam Coen's unit to win it all.

Bills stay alive in AFC East race

It wasn't the prettiest win for Josh Allen and the Bills, but they built an early lead and held off a late charge by the Browns in a 23-20 win to move to 11-4 on the season. They remain in striking distance for the AFC East crown if the Patriots lose tonight to the Ravens, though they should have a safe hold over a wild-card spot if not.

Steelers put Lions' playoff hopes on ice

Pittsburgh moved one step closer to an AFC North title with a thrilling win over Detroit, which is catching more than 100/1 odds to win the Super Bowl after yet another disspiriting loss in a season full of them. The Lions essentially need a miracle with a roughly 5% chance to make the postseason, and they'd be out with a loss or a Packers win or tie over the final two weeks.

Can Panthers crash the postseason?

Carolina is still dealing as a 175/1 long shot to win the Super Bowl - and rightfully so with how inconsistent the Panthers have been on a week-to-week basis. But they still control their own destiny to make the NFL playoffs after a 23-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. If Carolina beats Seattle next week or Tampa Bay in Week 18, it'll clinch the NFC South title for the first time since its run to the Super Bowl in 2015.
