The Los Angeles Rams remain the betting favorites by the Super Bowl odds following a gutsy win over the Detroit Lions to highlight NFL Week 15, while the Kansas City Chiefs' title hopes are officially dead after they were eliminated from the playoffs.
It was a wild and eventuful week around the league with the Rams erasing an early deficit to beat the Lions and the Seattle Seahawks staving off Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts to remain second in the Super Bowl odds. Those two sit just ahead of the Buffalo Bills, who rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat New England Patriots and stay within striking distance of the AFC East crown.

🐏 Can anyone catch the Rams?
Entering the season, it looked like Father Time might be catching up to Los Angeles with QB Matthew Stafford dealing with a back injury and former franchise icons Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald gone.
Instead, Sean McVay and Co. look like the most complete team in the league and the best version of themselves since winning it all five years ago. They remain in the driver's seat for the NFC's top seed, too, after outscoring the Lions by 14 points in the second half of a 41-34 win to improve to 11-3 on the season.
The Rams' only three losses have come to likely playoff teams in the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Carolina Panthers - and all three defeats came by one score. With Stafford the clear favorite by the latest NFL MVP odds and this defense profiling as one of the NFL's best, it's hard to bet against this team's chances of winning it all.
🦬 Bills stake claim as AFC's best
All the Patriots had to do was beat the Bills for a second time this season - this time at home - to claim the AFC East division title with three weeks left to go. But the reigning division winners weren't ready to hand over the crown just yet.
Despite falling down by 21 points on the road, the Bills rallied to oust favorite New England and remain firmly in the mix for the division title and possibly the No. 1 seed in the conference, too. Even if Buffalo falls to a wild-card spot, there may be no more dangerous team on that side of the bracket with the way Josh Allen is playing of late.
With the Chiefs eliminated from the postseason (more on that below), the Bills' biggest playoff boogeyman is out of the picture. There's never been a clearer path for Allen and this franchise to finally capture that elusive first title - even if the defense still leaves something to be desired as we look ahead to the playoffs.
🔴 Chiefs' reign ends in a whimper
This surely won't be the last time we see Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs competing for the Lombardi Trophy. But their chances of winning this year are finally over after Kansas City's 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to drop to 6-8 on the year.
To make matters worse, Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL late in that loss, which would have effectively killed the Chiefs' chances of making noise in the postseason even if they hadn't been eliminated. For now, the rest of the league can breathe a sigh of relief knowing the bullies of the Midwest - who had played in seven straight AFC title games - have officially been vanquished this season.
That's especially good news for the Denver Broncos, who are already close to clinching the AFC West after a 34-26 win over the Green Bay Packers and look like the clear favorites to secure the No. 1 seed in the conference, too.
