Seahawks vs. Cardinals Prediction: Thursday Night Football Odds & TNF Picks Tonight

Last Updated: September 25, 2025 6:25 PM EDT • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link

The Arizona Cardinals play host to the Seattle Seahawks tonight on Thursday Night Football, and my Seahawks vs. Cardinals prediction is siding with the betting favorite. Kickoff from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., is at 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video).
The betting favorite title has flipped. The Seahawks were underdogs to start the week, and they're now favored by 1 or 1.5 points across the board just ahead of kickoff. Our NFL picks for this game all back the Seahawks, too.
My NFL predictions for Week 4 also feature a play on Seahawks star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Our Seahawks vs. Cardinals player props expect his signal-caller to also produce a strong night.

🔍️ Game-day odds analysis
The odds have already seen significant movement, with the Seahawks flipping from the 1.5-point betting underdog to the 1.5-point betting favorite. I don't see things changing much more in the lead-up to kickoff. The Seahawks' ATS odds will probably shorten slightly, getting closer to DraftKings' -122. There is a chance, albeit minimal, that the Seahawks move to -2 at one of the best sports betting apps.
The total here opened at 46.5 points, but has plummeted to 43.5 as the week has progressed.

🟢 Seahawks ML (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The betting lines have flipped since the Seahawks started the week as the 1.5-point betting underdog. They are now the 1 or 1.5-point betting favorite, which has persuaded me to shift to the moneyline, primarily to avoid the risk of a push.
The Seahawks' play in the early going has not only passed the eye test, but also the statistical one.
With two of three games against teams that should be in the playoff hunt at season's end (San Francisco and Pittsburgh), the Seahawks boast the sixth-best offensive DVOA and fifth-best defensive DVOA.
Mike Macdonald's team is also among the top offensive units at PFF, ranking fifth.
DVOA takes into consideration the strength of schedule, which is telling regarding the Cardinals' rankings. Head coach Jonathan Gannon's team is 19th in offensive DVOA and 13th in defensive DVOA after three games, two of which were against teams not expected to make the playoffs (Carolina and New Orleans).
I spoke about the Seahawks' potential rest advantage in my early Seahawks vs. Cardinals prediction.
Both teams have been hit relatively hard by the injury bug, but all signs point to the return of Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet. The Cardinals, meanwhile, will be without running back James Conner after he suffered a horrifying ankle injury against San Francisco.
I admire how the Seahawks are playing on both sides of the ball, and I expect them to get over the line, albeit just. Of the best sports betting sites, bet365's -115 odds offer the best possible return. FanDuel and BetMGM are close behind (-116), while DraftKings provides the least value at -122.

⬆️ Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 80.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a stud, and his quarterback, at least thus far, is getting the most from him. The wide receiver's lowest output through three games (96 yards against the Saints) is better than all but three of last season's hauls.
He has 323 receiving yards already, 10 fewer than league-best Puka Nacua of the Rams. The Cardinals, meanwhile, have struggled in the secondary due to numerous injuries. While that unit is gradually getting healthier, Arizona has allowed 164.7 yards per game to opposing wide receivers, the seventh-most.
The Cardinals' secondary is also ranked seventh-worst against opposing wide receivers at DraftEdge.com.
I'm going with BetMGM as it offers the lowest total (80.5 yards). Its -115 odds are just marginally shorter than bet365 (-111) and DraftKings (-114), both of which offer higher 83.5-yard totals.
