Though 64.5 yards is a high bar for Henderson to clear, if he can get into the second level - something that New England’s bolstered offensive line should help him do - things could go south for the Raiders fast. Although it’s unclear who offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury will give the bulk of the carries to now that Brian Robinson Jr. is gone, it’s likely to be a healthy mix of JCM and Chris Rodriguez.

JCM flashed home-run speed on a 27-yard breakaway touchdown run against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 of the preseason. His burst score of 132.6 puts him in the 95th percentile. He now gets to play behind a Washington Commanders offensive line that ranked an impressive second in run-block win rate a season ago and added left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

I like JCM to go Over 30.5 rushing yards for -115 (53.5% implied probability) at BetMGM, where a $10 bet will secure an $8.70 profit. But I love JCM for 40+ rushing yards at FanDuel for +130 (43.5%), where a $10 bet will score you a tidy $13 profit. This line could move a lot throughout the week as we hear more about Washington’s backfield, but I want to buy now.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for Tennessee Titans fans, but Cam Ward’s debut could be seriously ugly. He takes on a stingy Denver Broncos defense that boasts the league’s top cornerback, Patrick Surtain II. Alongside him, defensive coordinator Vance Joseph has several talented weapons, including safety Brandon Jones, who posted the second-highest pass coverage grade at his position last year.

The pass rush is also a strength. Denver ranked second in pass-rush win rate last year (46%), which poses huge issues for a Tennessee offensive line that ranked 27th in pass-block win rate (56%). Joseph’s defense ranked second in pressure rate (27.7%) and led the NFL in sacks by nine despite only blitzing at the seventh-highest clip (29.5%). 

Ward will have some good games, but his Week 1 debut probably won’t be one of them. The receiving corps also leaves much to be desired at this point. Fade Ward by backing him for Under 193.5 passing yards for -114 (53.3%) at DraftKings to secure an $8.77 profit on a $10 bet.
