Ravens vs. Chiefs Anytime Touchdown Scorer Predictions: NFL Week 4

DeAndre Hopkins will score for the third time this season, as the Ravens and Chiefs put up plenty of points in Kansas City.

My best Ravens vs. Chiefs anytime touchdown scorer predictions focus on Kareem Hunt, Noah Gray, and DeAndre Hopkins, ahead of Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS) game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. The Ravens are favored by 2.5, but my best NFL picks focus on two Chiefs finding the end zone.

These two teams enter this week with 12 combined players who have scored, so rather than trying to find a high-risk, low-reward “sure thing”, I’m looking for value as part of my NFL predictions for Week 4.

🔥 Kareem Hunt to score anytime TD (+215) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Chiefs have only scored three rushing touchdowns this season, but this is the most likely of my Ravens vs. Chiefs anytime touchdown scorer predictions to hit. Patrick Mahomes has scored twice, while Hunt scored for the first time last week. I expect Hunt to have more success this week against a defense that has allowed the most rushing touchdowns (7) this season.

While Hunt has two fewer carries than Isiah Pacheco, they’ve received identical opportunities in two of the Chiefs’ three games. Additionally, Pacheco hasn’t scored since Week 1 of last season, so to see his price (+220) almost identical to Hunt’s in this matchup, especially since Hunt has scored 10 times in that same span, is shocking.

The price of +215 at DraftKings implies a 31.75% chance that Hunt scores in this game. A $10 bet would pay $21.50.

🔥 Noah Gray to score anytime TD (+550) ⭐⭐

With a price of +550 available at FanDuel and DraftKings, this is purely a value-play. The Ravens are allowing 6.6 catches (4th-most) and 72.6 yards (2nd-most) per game to tight ends this season. While they’ve only given up one touchdown to tight ends, I’m anticipating Travis Kelce and Gray having the ball a lot in this game.

Gray only has five catches for 21 yards so far, but he’s been targeted 12 times. That’s only five fewer targets than Kelce. And while Kelce has scored this season, dating back to the beginning of last year, Kelce has only five touchdowns. That’s the same amount as Gray.

Kelce’s price to score is +185, which overvalues his ability to find the end zone at this point in his career. Meanwhile, a $10 bet on Gray would pay $55. The price suggests a 15.38% chance he scores.

🔥 DeAndre Hopkins to score anytime TD (+550) ⭐⭐⭐

The Chiefs have only allowed six touchdowns, but in their biggest challenge from a passing offense, they gave up three to wide receivers. When I picked my best Ravens vs. Chiefs player props, I predicted that Zay Flowers would have a tough game, but Hopkins could find success with limited opportunities.

Hopkins has only been targeted six times thus far, but he has five catches. He’s scored twice, with both touchdowns coming from more than 20 yards out. While Hopkins isn’t much of a red-zone threat, he may pose matchup problems against a defense that has already allowed seven completions of 20 or more yards.

As was the case with Gray, Hopkins’ teammates like Flowers (+145) and Mark Andrews (+220) are being way overvalued in this matchup. I’ll take Hopkins at +550 at DraftKings, where a $10 bet wins $55. The price implies a 15.38% chance he scores.
