With both teams 10-4 against the spread coming into Thursday, it’s tough to find an edge on trends. The Rams have a slightly higher cover percentage on the road (4-2 ATS) than the Seahawks have at home (4-3 ATS).
Though weather and travel concerns could play into this matchup, potentially explaining the mid-week flip in who is favored from Los Angeles -1.5 to Seattle -1.5, I’m still riding with Matthew Stafford playing at an MVP-level. The Rams won the first meeting 21-19, and the rematch likely plays out similarly.

Puka Nacua Over 7.5 receptions (-124) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Though Seattle is one of the stingier defenses in allowing volume to wide receivers, Davante Adams is expected to miss this matchup with a hamstring injury. That could force an uptick for Nacua in a game that could see plenty of key third downs (for which Nacua is a go-to option) against a stout defense.
I’m also approaching Nacua’s stat line with the belief that the expected gnarly weather and wind gusts could actually favor his receptions total, as Stafford may resort to short and immediate passes to avoid the impact of the conditions.

Matthew Stafford Over 1.5 passing TDs (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
While Seattle has a stingy pass defense, its run-stopping abilities are even more impressive. The Seahawks have allowed just seven rushing scores on the season across 14 games, compared to 17 passing touchdowns.
If the Rams get to their implied team total of 20.5, it’s likely due to a couple of touchdowns on the arm of an MVP candidate solidifying his standing. Stafford has thrown multiple touchdown passes in 12 of 14 games and in eight straight games leading into Thursday.
