We are just a few days away from Super Bowl 2026 between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, which will also feature Bad Bunny as the halftime performer this year at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Who else could take the stage in future years? I looked ahead while predicting the next 10 Super Bowl halftime show performers that everyone would enjoy along with your Super Bowl predictions. From Taylor Swift to Metallica, let's look ahead to the next decade of Super Bowl halftime shows.

Super Bowl 2027 - Taylor Swift

Super Bowl 2027 host: SoFi Stadium (Inglewood, Calif.)

There are several reasons why Taylor Swift would be an ideal Super Bowl halftime performer. She has unmatched global popularity, stadium-proven talent, and a natural connection to the NFL audience. In terms of global appeal, Swift is one of the few artists in the world who commands a truly cross-generational fan base. Kids, teens, parents, and even grandparents know her music.

As for her stadium-proven talent, The Eras Tour demonstrated her ability to transform a stadium into a cinematic experience. Massive visuals, seamless set changes, choreography, storytelling, and crowd engagement are already part of her blueprint - exactly what a halftime show requires in a condensed format.

Finally, her recent visibility around NFL games has helped bridge music fans and football fans. A halftime performance would feel like a cultural full-circle moment rather than a random booking. With Travis Kelce potentially retiring, what would be better than a 2027 Taylor Swift Super Bowl halftime show?

Super Bowl 2028 - Justin Bieber

Super Bowl 2028 host: Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta)

Justin Bieber would be an intriguing pick for a future Super Bowl halftime show, as he checks every box the NFL values: global star power, a catalog packed with hits, strong visual production potential, and wide-ranging audience appeal.

Much like Taylor Swift, he brings undeniable global star power. Bieber is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with a fan base that spans continents and generations. His name alone would draw casual viewers to tune in for the halftime show. His music is widely recognizable, radio-proven, and well-suited for a broad TV audience - ideal for sponsors and the NFL brand.

The NFL tends to pick artists a few years after they have hit their peak, and what better time than 2028 so have Justin Bieber put on a show? This would be a halftime show for all ages and an exciting change from what we’ve seen recently.

Super Bowl 2029 - Drake

This is my top pick among all the artists on this list. Drake has dominated the charts for over a decade and is one of the most streamed artists of all time, with a fan base that spans generations and continents. His name alone commands massive attention, exactly what the NFL counts on to drive viewership.

Drake has collaborated with nearly every major artist across genres. Surprise guest appearances would come naturally for the multi-platinum star, and a Super Bowl featuring Drake is destined to happen in the near future. My bet would be on 2029.

Although mainly a hip-hop artist, Drake has crossover hits that resonate with casual listeners, families, and international audiences alike - a key factor for a broadcast watched by millions. This would make for a fantastic halftime show performer.

Super Bowl 2030 - Morgan Wallen

Now, this would not be my favorite halftime show performer, as I am not a huge country music fan. However, it would be a change to the recent performances we have seen, and Morgan Wallen would be the most ideal choice out of the country music options.

Wallen has emerged as one of the biggest names in modern country music. His albums regularly break streaming records, and his songs top both country and mainstream charts, giving him a wide and commercially appealing audience.

While firmly rooted in country, Wallen’s music incorporates elements of rock, pop, and Southern-inspired sounds. This crossover style could appeal to a wider audience beyond traditional country fans. This change-of-pace style of halftime show would be unique and entertaining for everyone even if you aren't the biggest country music fan.

Super Bowl 2031 - Metallica

We have reached our first rock band of the list. Metallica is one of the most iconic rock bands in history, with decades of influence and a massive global fanbase. Their name alone would attract both longtime fans and casual viewers eager to see a legendary act on the sport’s biggest stage.

While rooted in heavy metal, their hits have transcended genre boundaries. Fans from the 80s, 90s, 2000s, and today know their music, making them appealing to multiple age groups - an important factor for a nationwide broadcast.

Few bands have the cultural impact that Metallica does. Their performance would be more than just a halftime show - it would be a historic pop culture moment, remembered for years to come. I would personally enjoy a Metallica halftime show performance.

This would be another fun change-of-pace performance, a rock show would definitely be a fun twist to the 2031 Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 2032 - Post Malone

Post Malone feels inevitable to be a future Super Bowl halftime performer. He is one of the favorites on the prediction markets thanks to his broad appeal with hip-hop, pop, rock, and even country influences. A halftime show could effortlessly transition from high-energy anthems to slower, sing-along moments.

He can mix high-energy hits with melodic, emotional songs, providing a halftime show that delivers both excitement and heartfelt moments - ideal for a television audience.

This would be another Super Bowl halftime show performer I would personally enjoy seeing, and I expect we’ll see him within the next few years. Post Malone is another guy I could see performing a few years after his peak, and 2032 would definitely fit that realm.

Super Bowl 2033 - Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is another performer I expect to see as a Super Bowl halftime act in the near future.

Her music spans pop, rock, country, and even elements of hip-hop collaborations, giving her the ability to appeal to a diverse audience and keep the show dynamic. While she has pushed boundaries in the past, her current music and stage persona are largely appropriate for a mainstream TV audience, making her appealing to sponsors.

As someone who grew up in the Miley Cyrus peak era, I would also enjoy seeing her on the stage at the Big Game. She would be a nostalgic win for all Super Bowl fans when she performs in 2033.

Super Bowl 2034 - Jay-Z

This is another artist I would love to see perform at a future Super Bowl halftime show. Jay-Z has a vast catalog of hits that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

Jay-Z is also projected to be a halftime show performer on the prediction market, they have him listed in the top-five of artists they expect to perform at a future Big Game halftime show. Of course, Jay-Z is one of the most influential figures in music history.

His career spans decades, and he’s widely respected in hip-hop, pop culture, and beyond. His name alone carries weight, which would draw attention from both fans and media. Jay-Z is a cultural icon whose performance would feel like a historic moment in both music and sports.

Super Bowl 2035 - Dua Lipa

With chart-topping hits such as Levitating, Don’t Start Now, and Physical, Dua Lipa boasts a collection of high-energy songs perfectly suited for a halftime performance. These tracks are instantly recognizable and proven on the radio, making them ideal for appealing to a wide audience.

While primarily a pop artist, Dua Lipa’s music often blends elements of disco, funk, and electronic music, allowing her to resonate with a wide audience - young and old, casual viewers and music enthusiasts alike.

Her image and music are broadly suitable for a television audience, making her a safe and appealing choice for advertisers. This is another situation where the artist will be coming out of their peak, and she would do a great job at Super Bowl 2035.

Super Bowl 2036 - Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter has been one of the fastest-rising stars in the music world over the past few years.

She has built a large, engaged fanbase across Gen Z and millennials, which would help draw younger viewers to the broadcast. The NFL often seeks performers who can engage younger viewers without alienating older fans. Carpenter's style hits that sweet spot - modern, yet broadly appealing.

Carpenter offers a rare blend of freshness, talent, performance experience, and cultural relevance, making her an ideal candidate for a Super Bowl halftime show that needs to excite both casual viewers and die-hard fans. She's one of the biggest risers in the music world through 2026, so pencil her in for 2036 - she is destined to make her Super Bowl debut in the next decade.
