Rodgers is playing his second game against a former team, having torched the New York Jets for 244 yards and four touchdowns on 30 pass attempts in the season opener. I expect an even more pass-happy game script now that he is being protected better, taking just two sacks in the last three games after seven sacks through the first two weeks.

The Steelers defense is coming off a game against the Cincinnati Bengals where they allowed season-worsts in yards per play, passing yards, and yards per rush. Thus, Rodgers should be airing it out early and often if this game turns into a shootout or if the Steelers fall behind early.

This is a contrarian play, as Rodgers has attempted 33 or more passes just twice in six games. But he has attempted 30 passes in two other games, so his floor is high to cash this Over through FanDuel’s -102 odds at a 50.5% implied probability. If this play cashes, my $10 winning wager would net $9.80 in profit.

⬇️ Jordan Love Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Love ranks seventh in Total QBR, second in Total QBR in the fourth quarter, and third on third down. However, Green Bay also ranks 14th in total yards per game, and Love’s QBR plummets to 22 (16th) when pressured. While under duress, Love throws to open downfield targets less than 2% of the time, the worst rate in the NFL.

As talented as Love is, Green Bay tends to rely much more on running back Josh Jacobs in the red zone. The Packers throw the ball at the fourth-lowest rate in the NFL while running at the league’s highest rate near the goal line. These are major reasons why Love has multiple touchdown passes in only half of his games this year.

If Love throws one or fewer touchdowns for the third straight game, my $10 winning wager through Caesars’ -110 odds (which carry a 52.38% implied probability) would net $9.09 in profit.

🔥 Darnell Washington anytime touchdown scorer (+350) ⭐⭐

Few teams are likely as happy to celebrate National Tight Ends Day than the Steelers, after Jonnu Smith, Pat Freiermuth, and Darnell Washington combined for all of the team’s four touchdowns in last week’s loss to Cincinnati.

Pittsburgh is targeting its tight ends at a league-high 36% rate. And opposing offenses are targeting tight ends at a high rate against Green Bay, as the Packers have allowed the fourth-highest percentage of targets to the position (24%).

If Washington scores for the second straight week, my $10 wager through bet365’s generous +350 odds at a 22.22% implied probability would return $35 in profit.
