Monday Night Football Prop Picks, Predictions: Wilson Eyes Week 1 Showdown With Former Team
The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos face off in Week 1 as Russell Wilson plays his first game with his new team. Here are our top Monday Night Football prop picks and predictions.
The Broncos sold the farm to acquire Russell Wilson from the Seahawks this offseason. Wilson, who played for Seattle for 10 seasons, will want to show his new team why he was worth the price while showing some revenge against his former employers.

Monday Night Football Prop Predictions
Wilson Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-130)
Even missing three games and fighting through injury last year, Wilson threw for two or more touchdowns in nine of his games. Now in Denver, with receivers like Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, Wilson will look to show why trading him was a mistake. I think he turns on the revenge fire and torches his old team.

Smith Over 9.5 rushing yards (-120)
Last year was a small sample size as Geno Smith played in only four games, his most since 2018. Still, in those four games, he ran over 9.5 yards twice, rushing for single-game highs of 12 and 23 yards. Going back to the last season Smith was a full-time starter for the New York Jets in 2014, he rushed for more than 9.5 yards in nine of 17 games.
Williams longest run Over 13.5 (-115)
Seattle finished with the 17th-ranked rush defense by yards allowed per game. Even if Broncos running back Melvin Gordon gets a decent amount of carries, Javonte Williams had a very successful rookie year and will look to build on it. Williams had a run over 13.5 yards in 12 of his 17 games in 2021. Expect more big runs from one of the better young backs in the league.
