Jets vs. Patriots Player Props for Thursday Night Football: NFL Week 11

I’m banking on two erratic players — the Patriots’ Stefon Diggs and the Jets’ Justin Fields — to deliver in a big way and cash two of my Jets vs. Patriots player props for Thursday Night Football.

My top three Jets vs. Patriots player props for Thursday Night Football target both starting quarterbacks, as well as a best bet on veteran New England receiver Stefon Diggs.

The Patriots are a massive 13-point betting favorite in this AFC East clash from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass (8:15 p.m. ET, PrimeVideo), and I’m offering up these prop bets as part of our NFL Week 11 predictions.

💰 Best Thursday Night Football player props

⬆️ Stefon Diggs player prop: Over 53.5 yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stefon Diggs has had an up-and-down season in New England. In four games against the Raiders, Panthers, Bills and Titans, the veteran wideout combined for 29 catches and 337 yards (including back-to-back 100-yard efforts against Carolina and Buffalo). In his other six outings, though, Diggs has 21 receptions for 181 yards.

Diggs’ yardage totals in his last three contests: 14, 38 and 46. So why back Diggs on Thursday against the Jets, who yield just 190 passing yards per game? Because some of the NFL’s top wideouts have flourished versus New York this season, including Ja’Marr Chase (91 yards), Emeka Egbuka (85), DK Metcalf (83), Jerry Jeudy (78) and Tyreek Hill (67) — and all but Jeudy had to deal with Sauce Gardner.

BetMGM has the best number on this Jets vs. Patriots player prop, and the -115 price carries a 53.49% implied win probability. Bet $10 to win $8.70.

⬆️ Justin Fields player prop: Over 135.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Which Justin Fields will show up Thursday night — the one who racked up 218, 226, 244 and 283 passing yards in four of his starts? Or the one who managed just 27, 45, 46 and 54 yards in his other four? Clearly, I’m banking on the former.

First off, Fields was stymied by the No. 2 (Browns), No. 3 (Bills), No. 6 (Broncos) and No. 15 (Panthers) pass defenses. But he delivered against the Steelers (32nd), Bengals (30th), Cowboys (29th) and Dolphins (13th). The Patriots are 21st against the pass and have allowed every opposing QB to eclipse 135 yards (with seven topping 220 yards). Yes, Garrett Wilson is out. But Fields still should have no trouble putting up garbage-time stats — something he’s known for.

Bet this Jets vs. Patriots player prop comes at BetMGM, where the -118 odds imply a 54.13% win probability. Risk $10 to collect $8.48.

Our Gary Pearson also expects a decent day from the visitors in his Jets vs. Patriots prediction.

⬆️ Drake Maye player prop: Longest completion Over 36.5 yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

In the last five weeks, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has registered completions of 53 yards (at New Orleans), 39 yards (at Tennessee), 39 and 44 yards (vs. Cleveland), 58 yards (vs. Atlanta), and 54 and 72 yards (at Tampa Bay). He also had a 55-yarder at Miami in Week 2. And get this: Maye didn’t complete more than 21 passes in any of those games.

It’ll be cold in Foxborough on Thursday night, but wind and rain won’t be a factor. Neither will the aforementioned Sauce Gardner, who is now in Indianapolis. That’s one less stud cornerback for Maye to worry about when he chucks the ball downfield.

Place this wager at FanDuel, where the -114 odds equate to a 53.27% implied win probability. A winning $10 wager will return $8.77.
