Jets vs. Bengals Player Prop Bets: Best Week 8 Player Props & TD Predictions

The Jets’ quarterback situation is an uncomfortable one, yet Mason Taylor and Breece Hall should excel in the passing attack anyway.

My best Jets vs. Bengals player prop bets focus on Chase Brown, Breece Hall, and Mason Taylor, ahead of Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET game at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati. The Bengals are 6-point home favorites.

Brown finally topped 50 yards last week, and against a weak rush defense, he’s one of my favorite NFL picks for Sunday’s slate. Read on for more about Hall and Taylor, and for even more about this game, check out our NFL predictions for Week 8.

💰 Best Jets vs. Bengals player props

⬆️ Chase Brown Over 54.5 rushing yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brown ran for 108 yards on 11 carries last week. The Jets have the 11th-worst rush defense in the league, allowing 129.3 rushing yards per game. They’ve allowed a running back to rush for at least 66 yards in five of their last six games.

Brown is only averaging 3.6 yards per carry this season, but he’s averaged at least 4.0 yards per rush in three of his last four. The price of -112 at DraftKings implies a 52.83% chance that he hits this Over. A $10 bet would profit $8.93.

⬆️ Breece Hall Over 21.5 receiving yards (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Bengals have the third-worst pass defense, allowing 257.1 yards per game, but the Jets’ quarterback situation, I don’t trust any receivers. Instead, I’ll back Hall to top this number for the first time since Week 5.

Hall is third on the team with 19 receptions for 164 yards, but without Garrett Wilson, the Jets don’t have a leading receiver for this game. However, the Jets are sixth in the league with 261 receiving yards by running backs. BetMGM’s price of -118 implies a 54.13% chance this Over hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.47.

6️⃣ Best touchdown scorer prediction for Jets vs. Bengals

🔥 Mason Taylor to score a touchdown (+260) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Justin Fields is listed as the starting QB for the Jets, and while Taylor hasn’t scored yet this season, he has at least three catches in four of his last five, and should be targeted plenty in this matchup. bet365’s price of +260 implies a 27.78% chance that Taylor scores. The Bengals can’t cover tight ends, allowing a league-high 536 yards and nine touchdowns to the position.

A $10 bet would profit $26.
