I'm exploring the best Jaxson Dart player props for today's New York Giants matchup against the Denver Broncos. Kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver is set for  4:05 p.m. ET (CBS).

The Broncos have an NFL-leading 30 sacks (eight more than the next-closest team) and also pace the league in both QB pressures and pressure percentage.

By any metric, this is football's top pass rush. Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper are going to make life difficult on Dart, and I think this prop was lined too high based on a single game in which the rookie was able to complete several long passes.

As dominant as this Broncos defense has been, ranking top five in several categories, the unit only has one interception on the year and ranks 26th in total takeaways.

Dart has also played mostly clean football, outside of his disastrous second half against the Saints two weeks ago. I think Giants head coach Brian Daboll will have a game plan in place for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds leader that won't have him pushing the ball downfield, calling more short passes to prevent disaster and keep this matchup close.

It's still early in Dart's career, so the Giants will want to prioritize building good habits in the QB - chiefly, taking care of the ball - even if this game gets away from them.

Building off my previous best player props, let's target Dart Over 17.5 passing completions on the belief that the Giants' rookie will focus on the short passing game in order to limit both sacks and takeaways, given the matchup.

Denver is allowing the lowest net yards per attempt to opposing quarterbacks league-wide (4.5), meaning New York is unlikely to get chunk plays through the passing game.

The Giants will have more opportunities for Dart to hit completions, rather than pick up yardage in one big swing. This line roughly matches Denver's average completions allowed per game (18.2).

Dart has running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., a receiving threat, as a safety valve in this contest to mitigate the pass rush and will likely have ample opportunity to throw the ball with the Giants expected to be trailing late (Denver is a 7.5-point favorite, per the latest NFL odds).
