I’m eying Philip Rivers to attempt a lot of passes against the league’s best rush defense.

My best Jaguars vs. Colts player props for Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET (FOX) game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis focus on Brenton Strange, Philip Rivers, and Jakobi Meyers. The Jaguars are favored by 6.

Trevor Lawrence is red-hot entering this game, which is why I have high expectations for both Strange and Meyers. Additionally, I highlight one great prop for Rivers as the Colts take on the league’s best rush defense. For more coverage of this game, check out our NFL Week 17 predictions.

Brenton Strange Over 36.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last week, Strange recorded five receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown. He now has at least 39 yards in six of his 10 games. He also has a high floor, as he has recorded at least 22 yards in all but one game this season.

Last week, the Colts allowed George Kittle to catch seven passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. They’ve now allowed the second-most yards to tight ends (1,050), and the fifth-most receptions (94).

Philip Rivers Over 32.5 passing attempts (-103) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rivers has attempted at least 27 passes in both his games, and last week, he attempted 35. The Colts should rely heavily on him again, as not only are they 6-point underdogs, but the Jaguars also have the league’s best rush defense, allowing just 87.3 yards per game.

To offset the Jaguars’ great rush defense, Rivers will get more attempts against the league’s 25th-ranked pass defense. The Jaguars have allowed the second-most pass attempts this season.

Jakobi Meyers to score a touchdown (+155) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Meyers has scored a touchdown in three of his last five games, including in Week 14 against the Colts. He finished that game with four receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown.

Meyers continues to see plenty of meaningful opportunities, as he’s been targeted at least six times in six consecutive games, catching at least four passes in each of those contests. The Colts have allowed 23 passing touchdowns this season.
