The waiver wire is a hotbed of action right now after unfortunate injuries to fantasy football superstars Malik Nabers and Tyreek Hill. Below, we will look at some of the most popular add options for this week and zero in on their NFL player props for Week 5.

Each week we feature three player props that we feel strongly about. We’re on a relative hot streak, as we went 2-1 last week and 3-0 the week prior in our fantasy football waiver picks. We’ll look to keep things rolling here in our NFL predictions for Week 5.

💰 Week 5 prop bets for best fantasy football waiver adds

Our NFL player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

🔥 Darius Slayton Over 3.5 receptions made (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Slayton is about to party like it’s 2020 in terms of targets. That season he was targeted 96 times.

With Nabers unfortunately done for the season, Slayton will become one of Jaxson Dart’s top options by default.

The Saints have a middle-of-the-pack pass defense. It’s fine, but certainly not one to strike fear into the hearts of Slayton Over bettors. I like Dart to look Slayton’s way a lot this week, so Over 3.5 catches is where I’m looking to capitalize.

🔥 Darren Waller Over 26.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Waller made a statement in his first game with the Dolphin on Monday night, catching two touchdown passes from Tua Tagovailoa.

I usually lean toward regression after a week like Waller had, but this coming week’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers is just too inviting.

Tight ends have enjoyed strong afternoons against the Panthers thus far this season. Brenton Strange had four catches for 59 yards against the Carolina D in Week 1. Trey McBride had six catches for 78 yards in Week 2. Kyle Pitts had four catches for 39 yards in Week 3. And this past week, Patriots tight ends Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper combined for three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Waller should be able to reach this number with ease.

🔥 Kendre Miller Over 35.5 rush yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Giants defense has made it a habit of making opposing running backs look phenomenal this season. It has allowed the fourth-most rushing yards per game in the NFL thus far.

Miller carried the ball a season-high 11 times last week and rewarded Kellen Moore with 65 yards and a touchdown. I like Miller to get a similar amount of touches this week against the Giants. Over 35.5 yards seems reasonable.
