💰 Best Week 3 prop bets for top fantasy football waiver adds
Here are my favorite NFL player prop bets this week for some of the most popular fantasy football waiver adds ahead of Week 3.
⬆️ Daniel Jones Over 26.5 rushing yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Danny Dimes resurgence is in full swing. The Colts QB has thrown for 588 yards, 2 TDs, and zero picks so far this season en route to a 2-0 start.
His stint in Indianapolis is still in its infancy, but we have not yet seen a vintage Jones rushing performance. Back in his Giants glory days of 2022, he was carrying the ball 7.5 times per game.
The peak of Jones’ scrambling era came in a 2022 Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings when he ran the ball a whopping 17 times for 78 yards.
I don’t think we’ll see Jones carry the ball nearly that many times this Sunday against a weak Tennessee rushing defense. But I do think we’ll see him show that he’s still got elite wheels for a QB.
The Titans defense has allowed a total of 378 rushing yards so far this season - sixth-most in the NFL. For what it’s worth, Broncos QB Bo Nix rushed the ball eight times for 18 yards in Week 1 against the Tennessee D.
Jones is -115 to go Over 26.5 rushing yards against the Titans at BetMGM. If you were to place that bet and win on a $10 wager, you would net $8.70.
⬇️ Troy Franklin Under 42.5 receiving yards (-110)

The Broncos have been one of the NFL’s early disappointments as they barely beat Tennessee at home in Week 1 and then lost at the Colts in Week 2.
One of the few bright spots has been the play of second-year WR Troy Franklin. Franklin had four catches for 44 yards in Week 1, and eight catches for 89 years in Week 2. He was targeted more than Marvin Mims in both games and even drew more targets than Courtland Sutton in Week 2.
Broncos head coach Sean Payton will surely make it a point this week to get Sutton and Mims more involved. When the Broncos were cooking last season it was the tag-team of Sutton and Mims that got the job done. Franklin was the clear No. 3 option - if not No. 4 - when Denver had its most success last year.
I think Franklin takes a small step back this week in his career progression, mostly because he won’t get enough looks but also because the Broncos are facing a stout Chargers defense that allowed just 180 yards through the air on Monday against the Raiders.
Franklin's prop total sits at 42.5 receiving yards at BetMGM with a -115 price on the Under. If he were to fall below that number Sunday, a $10 bet would return $8.70 in profit.
⬆️ Caleb Williams Over 222.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The NFC North is arguably the toughest division in football, and Caleb Williams has been tested by division foes right out of the gate. All in all, Williams was decent against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 and the Detroit Lions in Week 2.
In Week 1 against Minnesota, he threw for 210 yards, a TD and 0 INTs. He also rushed for 58 yards, including a touchdown, on six carries. In Week 2 against Detroit, Williams threw for 207 yards and 2 TDs with one pick while adding 27 yards on the ground.
Life should become much easier for the second-year QB this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, who just made 36-year-old Russell Wilson (450 yards) look like prime Peyton Manning last Sunday.
Williams likely won’t duplicate Wilson's feat, but he should be able to surpass 222.5 passing yards with the Over priced at -115 at BetMGM. A $10 bet at that number would net you $8.70 in profit.

How do NFL player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more NFL odds.
