Kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS).

Ravens -2.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

So long as the Ravens don't suffer any additional injuries during MNF, which I covered in my Lions vs. Ravens prediction, I'm backing the Ravens to win their first game in Kansas City in the last 13 years.

I am concerned about Kyle Van Noy's (hamstring) and Nnamdi Madubuike's (neck) status for Sunday's critical game. Neither pass rusher, who combined for 19 of the team's 53 sacks last season, is available against Detroit.

Team reports suggest the near-term outlook doesn't appear promising.

However, the Ravens have so many lethal weapons at their disposal, and Lamar Jackson can dole out his punishment in various ways. The Ravens' offense had the best EPA per play and the second-best offensive DVOA through two weeks.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs' offense is disjointed and single-dimensional. Even if Madubuike and Noy don't play, the Chiefs' offense, tied for 19th in DVOA, doesn't scare teams like it used to. Devoid of a ground attack, aside from Patrick Mahomes' scampering ability, Kansas City's offense is too predictable.

The Ravens, on the other hand, have one of the most unpredictable and dynamic offenses around.

Mahomes is 4-1 against Jackson in the regular season, but that record doesn't carry as much weight as it used to. DraftKings, Caesars, and BetMGM have the Ravens at -2.5, just shy of the key number (3).

BetMGM and DraftKings offer -110 odds, the best value among the best sports betting sites, where a winning $10 bet will profit $9.09.

Ravens vs. Chiefs odds analysis

FanDuel has already increased the spread to -3. The rest of the best sports betting apps will follow suit if the Ravens beat the Lions tonight and look good doing so.

The betting line, however, could go the other way if the Lions upset Baltimore at home. If you feel confident about the Ravens in MNF, lock them in at -2.5 now, as it might not be around for long.

How do NFL odds work?

When betting on NFL odds, the point spread shows how many points the favorite needs to win by in order to cash the bet. For example, a favorite of -3 must win by more than 3 points to cover the spread, while an underdog at +3 must win outright or lose by fewer than 3 points to cover the spread.

Moneyline odds represent the payout for picking the outright winner (+200 means a $100 bet wins $200, while -200 means a $200 bet wins $100). Over/Unders let you wager on whether the combined total will be higher or lower than the set number.
