The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Green Bay Packers for Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN), and my Eagles vs. Packers prediction expects the fresh visitors to cover the spread. 

The analysis below, part of the NFL Week 10 predictions, includes a Romeo Doubs player prop after Tucker Kraft's season ended prematurely last week. The Eagles are the 1.5-point betting underdog.

The old rest versus rust argument springs to the forefront, with the Eagles ruling out only one player, center Cam Jurgens, after coming off a bye week.

The Packers, meanwhile, lost their most productive receiver, tight end Tucker Kraft, to a season-ending ACL injury in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers. The team will miss his yards after the catch (YAC) and chunk plays desperately. He had 344 YAC, with second-place Romeo Doubs amassing just 92. 

Rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden, with 86, has the third-most. However, Golden is listed as questionable after injuring his shoulder against the Panthers. Even if he plays, Kraft's absence should make life easier for Vic Fangio and the Eagles' defense.

I'm dubious about whether the Packers' place kicker, Brandon McManus, can make field goals at critical junctures. With a high probability of a close game, McManus' 68.8% field goal accuracy doesn't instill much confidence. 

The Eagles were playing much better in the two games leading up to the bye, so it will be interesting to see whether the additional rest negatively impacts the collective sharpness and rhythm.

I'm willing to give the defending champs - who were 3-0 against the spread last season as a road betting underdog - the benefit of the doubt, especially after Green Bay's poor Week 9 showing.

Romeo Doubs vs. Eagles secondary 

With their most explosive offensive option sidelined for the remainder of the season, Doubs will need to step up. And I expect Jordan Love to go to him more often. Doubs hit the Over on this receiving yards total in four of the previous five games, including a 91-yard performance last week against the Panthers. 

The Eagles rank in the lower third of effectiveness against wide receivers, 11th worst, allowing 157.3 yards per game. There is a significant discrepancy in totals offered by the best sports betting sites, with DraftKings providing the lowest total (51.5 yards). 

bet365 and BetMGM offer 56.5 yards, with the former at -111. That price is barely better than the -114 offered at DraftKings for five fewer yards. The obvious and best choice is DraftKings, where a winning $10 bet will profit $8.77.
