The Philadelphia Eagles' defense is struggling immensely ahead of Monday's trip to Tampa Bay, and we're looking at whether the Buccaneers' top playmakers can take advantage with our top Eagles vs. Buccaneers NFL player props based on the best NFL odds.

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) look a lot different than the team that represented the NFC in last year's Super Bowl and kicked off the season with a 10-1 record. They'll need one heck of a turnaround to survive on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8), who have the weapons to take advantage in the final game of NFL Wild Card Weekend.

Despite limping along with a subpar defense for much of the campaign, the Eagles scored wins all season long based on the play of quarterback Jalen Hurts and the team. However, Philly faltered down the stretch with five losses in its last six games, all while suffering a few massive injuries.

Both Hurts and A.J. Brown were injured in a Week 18 loss, and wide receiver DeVonta Smith sat out entirely. Brown has been ruled out for the game, though Hurts did return as a full practice participant on Friday after managing only a limited session on Thursday. Our Mike Spector discusses what he expected for the signal-caller in his Jalen Hurts player props.

So, with the Eagles' offense featuring some question marks, we turn our attention to the home team for our favorite player props.

Can Baker Mayfield toy with a secondary that was carved up more this season than pumpkins on Halloween? Could the Bucs opt for a run-first approach, relying on the talents of running back Rachaad White to take charge? Will Tampa Bay assert dominance, executing its game plan at will and sending the Eagles packing?

As part of our NFL Wild Card Weekend predictions and to accompany our Eagles vs. Buccaneers predictions, here are our Eagles vs. Buccaneers NFL player props for Wild Card Weekend (odds via our best NFL betting sites; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Eagles vs. Buccaneers NFL player props: Wild Card Weekend

Baker Mayfield Over 232.5 passing yards (-109 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

This passing yards line is the same as what can be found at our other best sports betting apps (other than FanDuel), but Caesars offers the best odds. Additionally, it's two yards lower than the line at Pinnacle, which features one of the best trading teams in the sports betting industry.

Mayfield's average passing yards total is 244.89 across five projection models. When we run that number against Caesars' price, we're getting a little better than 8% positive expected value.

The only danger with this prop is if the Eagles really, really stink and Mayfield simply doesn't need to throw for more than 232 yards. However, it's entirely possible - with many of the Eagles' offensive players either limited or held out of practice this week - that a potential blowout is baked into these projections.

Therefore, we could beat the public to the Over and get a better number while playing this before the weekend.

Chris Godwin Over 54.5 receiving yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

You'll notice a trend with these first two picks, which is that the Eagles can't stop the pass. As we discussed in our Eagles vs. Buccaneers prediction, Godwin should be the main beneficiary of a leaky Philadelphia secondary.

Most of our best sports betting sites are offering a 54.5-yard total for Godwin's receiving prop, but only bet365's Over is longer than -115.

Once again, we ran Godwin's projections at five different models to get an average of 65.37. When we put that number against bet365's -110 odds on the Over, we're getting better than 6% positive expected value.

This bet is showing similar value to Godwin's total receptions Over, which we offered in the aforementioned predictions article. Therefore, if you're looking to play just one and don't want to lay the juice with the Over on his receptions prop trading at -152, this is the more favorable option.

Rachaad White Under 3.5 receptions (+125 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

And, finally, we're offering a nice plus-money offering for this game. Among our best sportsbooks, BetMGM is the only one featuring odds better than +120 for Rachaad White to go Under 3.5 receptions, though each shop is pricing the Under at plus money.

This prop opened at 4.5 through Pinnacle before bouncing between that and 3.5 until settling at the latter figure on Wednesday morning. Since then, the Under moved from +125 to its current price of +111. That tells us there was sharp action on this exact price, and enough that it moved 13 points to +112.

Across the five projection models we used, White's average receptions total is 3.47. We're getting a little better than 22% +EV on this bet through BetMGM's price.

Between the favorable projection and the telling movement at Pinnacle, this is a four-star bet, and one I personally played myself upon discovering it.
