Two of the NFL’s six remaining undefeated teams will collide Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa (1 p.m. ET, FOX) when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Philadelphia Eagles as 3.5-point home underdogs.

Although Jalen Hurts has historically struggled against the Bucs head coach Todd Bowles’ defensive scheme, our best Eagles vs. Buccaneers player props include Hurts to score a touchdown for the fourth time in as many outings this season.

We explain why below, along with two other NFL predictions for Week 4. For more NFL picks and the latest odds on this game, visit our Eagles vs. Buccaneers prediction page.

⬆️ Bucky Irving Over 86.5 rushing and receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

Irving has firmly established himself as the top option in Tampa Bay’s backfield. Last week, he received a career-high 29 touches in the Bucs’ 29-27 win over the New York Jets, and he gained 121 yards from scrimmage the previous week against the Houston Texans.

With top wideout Mike Evans sidelined by a hamstring injury, Irving should be heavily relied on again on Sunday, especially if Chris Godwin isn’t able to return from an ankle ailment. The Bucs aren’t getting much production out of the tight end position (Cade Otton wasn’t even targeted last week) and rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka will likely see plenty of attention from the Philadelphia secondary.

The best value on this prop at leading sportsbooks could be found at BetMGM, which lists Irving’s yards from scrimmage total at 86.5 — five yards lower than DraftKings and four less than FanDuel. The -115 odds imply a 53.5% probability and would reward a winning $10 wager with $8.70 profit.

⬇️ Devonta Smith Under 4.5 receptions (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

Smith pulled in a season-high eight passes on nine targets in last week’s win over the Los Angeles Rams, when the Eagles were forced to the air more often after falling behind 26-7. Prior to that, however, Smith had been held Under 4.5 catches in Philly’s first two games this season and six straight going back to last year’s playoffs.

With Tampa Bay’s three games this season having been decided by a combined total of six points, it’s unlikely that we see the Eagles in a big hole again on Sunday and forced to throw their way back into the game. It’s also unlikely that Jalen Hurts puts up big passing numbers, given his career struggles against Todd Bowles’ defenses.

As of Friday morning, BetMGM was offering Smith Under 4.5 receptions at -110 odds, compared to -140 at FanDuel and -129 at Caesars. A $10 bet at MGM pays $9.09 with an implied probability of $9.09.

🔥 Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown (-135) ⭐⭐⭐

Even though Hurts is 1-4 in his career against Bowles and the Buccaneers, he has still consistently managed to find the end zone, running for four scores in those five career meetings.

Hurts has also run for a touchdown in all three of Philadelphia’s games this season and in nine of the last 10 full games he’s played. The Eagles still regularly rely on Hurts and the tush push in short yardage situations such as the goal line, using it to score their first touchdown last week against the Rams.

DraftKings’ -135 odds on Hurts anytime touchdown imply just a 57.5% probability that he accomplishes something he’s done 90% of the time over his last 10 full games. I’ll happily bite at that price and the chance to return $7.41 on a $10 bet.
