NFL MVP Odds: Only Allen, Mahomes More Likely to Win MVP Than Drake Maye
Last Updated: October 26, 2025 5:42 PM EDT • 2 minute read X Social Google News Link
After another proficient performance, this time against the Cleveland Browns in NFL Week 8, Drake Maye saw his MVP odds shorten further.
Patrick Mahomes (+150) and Josh Allen (+350) are the only quarterbacks more likely to win MVP than Maye, whose +450 odds at FanDuel represent an 18.18% implied probability to capture the coveted award. Maye has led his New England Patriots to five straight wins and sole possession of first place in the AFC East.

🎥 Maye's phenomenal rise to MVP front-runner continues
I have to continually remind myself that Maye has started only 19 NFL games, yet he is a front-runner on the MVP odds leaderboard and in our Clutch QB power rankings.
He did the business again, this time dispatching effortlessly a Browns team that had the fifth-best defensive DVOA and defensive EPA per play entering Week 8.
In the second half of today's 32-13 win, Maye went 8-for-8 for 114 passing yards and three TDs for a passer rating of 158.3. The 23-year-old led the NFL in passer rating (116.4) and completion percentage (75.2%) as of the end of the early Week 8 slate.
Overall, he was 18-for-24 with 282 passing yards, three TDs, and one interception. So far this season, Maye has 15 passing TDs to just three picks.
His MVP odds, which opened at +6600, are now +450. Those odds shortened from +750 at FanDuel since the end of Week 7.
Mahomes, who faces the Washington Commanders at home on Monday Night Football, is the MVP odds favorite with his odds standing at +150 at FanDuel.
Meanwhile, Allen is receiving the second-shortest MVP odds (+350). The reigning MVP winner had a modest yet effective outing in a 40-9 rout of the Carolina Panthers, in which he finished 12-for-19 with three TDs (one passing, two rushing) and 163 passing yards.
Maye faces the Atlanta Falcons at home next week before traveling to Tampa Bay to face another MVP odds contender in Baker Mayfield and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If you're going to lock him in as your MVP pick, do so at bet365 before its +750 outlier price goes up in smoke.
