Will Davante Adams play tonight? Ahead of arguably the biggest game of the 2025 NFL season, the Los Angeles Rams receiver will be forced to watch from the sidelines as his team faces the host Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Adams left last week's win over the Detroit Lions with a non-contact hamstring injury that head coach Sean McVay said "didn't look good," and the Rams finally ruled him out just over an hour before kickoff from Lumen Field. We break down the latest injury news and how it impacts our NFL Week 16 predictions.

When Adams went down last week with that hamstring injury, it seemed unlikely he'd be able to suit up four days later in a road game against one of the NFL's best defenses. Sure enough, the Rams ruled him out roughly 90 minutes before kickoff.

That didn't come as a surprise, as the star wideout didn't practice during the week and carried a "doubtful" tag into tonight's matchup. On a short week, it would have been a shock to see him try to play through injury with the NFL playoffs just a few weeks away.

Adams enters Week 16 as the NFL leader in receiving touchdowns (14) with a whopping 12 of those coming in the red zone. While fellow wideout Puka Nacua is in line to inherit some of Adams' targets, the biggest beneficiary of his absence (besides Seattle's defense) could be running back Kyren Williams, who is tied for the NFL lead with eight rushing touchdowns inside the 5-yard line.

With Adams ruled out tonight, it's a major loss for Matthew Stafford, who features a 75% chance to win MVP ahead of this rematch with a Seahawks defense that held him to a season-worst 130 passing yards on a 53.6% completion rate in Week 11. Our Gary Pearson broke down Stafford's outlook tonight in his Rams vs. Seahawks prediction.
