The NFL season kicks off tonight in Philadelphia, and my Cowboys vs. Eagles parlay picks expect a celebratory night for the home fans.

My NFL picks are backing the favorite Eagles as an 8.5-point betting favorite along with two prop bets as part of our NFL predictions for Week 1. Kickoff tonight is set for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC) from Lincoln Financial Field.

Here are my favorite Cowboys vs. Eagles picks for Week 1 based on the best NFL odds for the full parlay.

🚀 Eagles -8.5 (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can’t find a way to get off the defending champions at home on Thursday night. While Jerry Jones continues to insist that the Micah Parsons trade was about propelling the Cowboys toward the playoffs, I don’t know that the players in that building would agree.

The Parsons move came at the exact wrong time for team morale, and I don’t see Dallas’ defense containing the Eagles’ attack in a lopsided result. While some books offer this line at -8, I’m fine opting for FanDuel’s line of -8.5 to gain access to the more aggressive -105 odds.

🚀 Dak Prescott Over 244.5 passing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Due to injury, we didn't see Dak Prescott face the Eagles last year. That means Dak avoided the league’s second-ranked pass defense (186.9 pass yards against per game).

Though Prescott only went Over 244.5 passing yards in 3-of-8 games last season, he may catch the Eagles in transition following the offseason departures of Darius Slay and C.J. Gardner-Johnson from the secondary. Plus, I don’t think the Cowboys can run the ball, meaning more Dak airing it out in our projected negative game script.

🚀 Saquon Barkley Over 95.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was a memorable year for Saquon Barkley, and in the regular season, he capped it against the Cowboys’ miserable run defense, rushing for 167 yards in Week 17 to eclipse 2,000 rushing yards.

If there’s one thing Jerry Jones has a point about, it’s that his team’s run defense has been miserable; Dallas gave up 137.1 rushing yards per game last year (29th). I don’t see Kenny Clark’s addition being enough to contain Barkley in the opener, though, as Saquon cleared this line in 14 of 20 games played (70%) last season.
