The San Francisco 49ers play host to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday as part of the NFL Divisional Round, as we're analyzing our best Christian McCaffrey NFL player prop predictions based on the best NFL odds.

After sitting out the San Francisco 49ers' regular-season finale, Christian McCaffrey returns to action Saturday after leading the NFL with 1,459 rushing yards to go along with 21 total touchdowns in 2023.

McCaffrey was an absolute beast during the regular season, averaging 5.4 yards per carry. He'll now face a defense that allowed opponents to rush for the ninth-most yards per carry this season.

Christian McCaffrey Over 127.5 rushing + receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This line feels low considering what McCaffrey accomplished this season. He compiled at least 130 total yards in five of his last six games and likely would have gone Over that number in Week 17 against the Washington Commanders had they needed him. After all, Elijah Mitchell did rush for 80 yards on 17 carries.

McCaffrey is averaging just over 21 touches per game. He’s done a lot with those opportunities, averaging 5.97 yards per touch. In a game when the 49ers should be winning for the majority of the contest, McCaffrey should see more than 20 touches.

The Packers’ defense gives up a lot of yards per rush, and against a running back like McCaffrey, it’s likely to be a long day for it on Saturday.

Christian McCaffrey 2+ touchdowns (+150 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately, McCaffrey has been so good this season that the prices for his touchdown props are very short. The best price you can get for him to score multiple touchdowns is +150, which would be the fifth-lowest price available for a player to score a single touchdown in this game.

McCaffrey scored multiple touchdowns in only five games this season. However, there are two ways that this game is going to play out on Saturday: either the 49ers are going to blow out the Packers or Green Bay is going to hang around by scoring with San Fran. In both scenarios, the 49ers are going to score more than 30 points.

If the team is going to score four touchdowns, it’s not crazy to assume that its best player will find the end zone multiple times.

Though the Packers are allowing just 2.3 touchdowns per game, a lot of that success has been because of facing some weak offenses. We wish this price could be better, but even at what it is, this is one of McCaffrey’s three best props for Saturday.

Christian McCaffrey Over 4.5 receptions (+106 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

All of our best sports betting sites are offering the Over at +100 or better. McCaffrey is averaging just over four receptions per game this season, and it’s safe to assume that number will go up in the postseason.

The 49ers have plenty of playmakers, but McCaffrey is the best of the bunch. They’re going to want to get him involved in the passing game early to open up the field for Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel. Because of that, this game will feature plenty of designed screens for McCaffrey.

The only real concern with this prop is if the 49ers build up such a huge lead, they won't need to throw much in the second half. But at +106, that is a risk worth taking.
