Best Browns vs. Steelers Player Prop Picks Today: How Will Gabriel Play in Second Start?

Last Updated: October 12, 2025 9:15 AM EDT • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link

I believe Dillon Gabriel will hit the Over on his passing yards prop against the Pittsburgh Steelers today, which I cover in my Browns vs. Steelers player props.
Gabriel threw for 190 yards against a much more capable Minnesota Vikings pass defense, so I'm backing him to hit the mark against the Steelers, constituting one of my headlining NFL picks. These player props are part of our NFL predictions for Week 6, and they also include picks featuring Jaylen Warren and DK Metcalf. Today's action from Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh kicks off at 1 p.m. ET (CBS).

💰 Best Browns vs. Steelers player prop picks

⬆️ Dillon Gabriel Over 183.5 passing yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Steel Curtain has been more of a turnstile this season as Pittsburgh’s defense has permitted an average of 260.5 passing yards per game (30th in NFL).
Carson Wentz (350 yards), Drake Maye (268 yards), and Sam Darnold (298 yards) have all enjoyed robust production through the air against the Steelers. Even Justin Fields (218 yards) cleared this line against Pittsburgh. Gabriel cleared it, too, last weekend when he threw for 190 yards in his first-ever start while facing Minnesota’s elite pass defense.
We’re targeting Gabriel’s passing line Over 183.5 yards from DraftKings as part of our best Browns vs. Steelers player prop picks. This prop is available at DK with -112 odds. The implied probability at those odds is 52.83%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $8.93.
⬇️ Jaylen Warren Under 49.5 rushing yards (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Jaylen Warren has not cleared a 49.5-yard rushing line yet this season, so we’re fading his output in this matchup against the league’s top-ranked run defense. The Browns permit just 75.6 rushing yards per game to lead the NFL.
🤑 Our senior analyst Dustin Saracini also loves this play as part of his best NFL player props for Week 6.
Though Warren’s health doesn’t appear to be a factor following the bye week after he missed Pittsburgh’s Week 4 game with a knee injury, it should be noted that Kenneth Gainwell performed admirably in his absence (19 carries, 99 yards) and could see more than his usual volume as the backup as a reward for that performance.
Though you’ll find better odds elsewhere than the -118 odds on Under 49.5 yards found at BetMGM, we prefer their line at 49.5 yards compared to totals between 45.5 and 46.5 yards across other sportsbooks. The implied probability at those odds is 54.13%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $8.47.
🔥 DK Metcalf anytime TD scorer (+180) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Because Cleveland’s run defense has been so stout, it’s difficult to push the ball across the goal line against the Browns on the ground. I’m targeting DK Metcalf’s anytime TD scorer prop in this matchup, as the Browns have allowed seven receiving touchdowns to wide receivers across five games.
Metcalf has found the end zone in three straight games as he established a quality connection with Aaron Rodgers. Though I don’t expect Metcalf to keep up a pace in which he scores in 75% of his games, the likelihood of a touchdown seems greater than the 35.71% implied probability based on the +180 odds from FanDuel.
A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $18.00.
