Best Browns vs. Lions Player Prop Bets: NFL Week 4 Odds & Expert Picks

Cleveland’s defense carried the Browns to a shocking 13-10 upset of the Green Bay Packers last week. However, our best Browns vs. Lions player props are projecting a tougher day for the team's stop unit in our NFL picks when the Browns visit Ford Field as double-digit underdogs on Sunday (1 p.m. ET, FOX).
As part of our NFL predictions for Week 4, we’re backing two key cogs of Detroit’s offense to go Over their prop totals. Cleveland’s David Njoku should also be in for a solid afternoon against a Lions defense that's been vulnerable to opposing tight ends.

⬆️David Njoku Over 37.5 receiving yards (-109) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Joe Flacco has been consistently looking for his tight ends this season, targeting both Njoku and rookie Harold Fannin Jr. 18 times through three weeks. Fannin received the lion’s share of the work in Week 1. But he's been given reduced volume since, while Nojoku has been on the field for 81% of Cleveland’s offensive snaps, per Pro Football Reference.
In a game with Cleveland expected to trail and be throwing often, opportunities should be there for Njoku on Sunday. Detroit’s defense is allowing 4.7 catches and 54.7 yards per game to opposing tight ends this season.
DraftKings was offering the best value on this prop as of Friday morning, listing Njoku’s yardage total two yards lower than FanDuel and a yard lower than Caesars. DraftKings’ -109 odds imply a 52.2% probability, and a $10 wager pays $9.17.

⬆️David Montgomery Over 9.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐
Montgomery is coming off his best effort of the young season, rumbling for 151 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns during Detroit’s 38-30 win over the Baltimore Ravens Monday night. However, rushing yards should be much tougher to come by against a Cleveland defense allowing a paltry 2.25 yards per carry this season.
Rather than repeatedly running into a brick wall Sunday afternoon, the Lions are likely to throw the ball more to Montgomery and fellow running back Jahmyr Gibbs. More than one-quarter of Jared Goff’s passes this season have targeted receivers out of the backfield, and Montgomery has gone Over his receiving yards prop in 11 of his last 15 games dating back to last season.
BetMGM is among the best sports betting sites dealing Montgomery’s receiving yards total at 9.5 with -115 juice on the Over. Those odds suggest a 53.5% chance that he eclipses that low number, with the opportunity to profit $8.70 on a $10 bet.

⬆️Jared Goff Over 1.5 touchdown passes (-118) ⭐⭐
As great as the Browns’ defense has been, it doesn’t tend to travel well. Cleveland gave up 41 points to Baltimore in its lone road game this season, allowing four TD passes to Lamar Jackson. Going back to 2024, the Browns have conceded 24-plus points in seven of their last eight away from home.
Meanwhile, Detroit has put up at least 31 points in five straight at Ford Field and eight of its last nine at home. Goff has thrown multiple TD passes in seven of his previous eight home games, and six of the seven touchdowns Cleveland’s defense has allowed this year came through the air.
BetMGM is offering the best deal on this wager while featuring -118 juice on Goff Over 1.5 touchdowns. Meanwhile, FanDuel sits at -136, with Caesars at -129. A $10 bet at BetMGM potentially pays $8.47 profit, with an implied probability of 54.1%.
