Broncos vs. Chiefs Same-Game Parlay for Christmas Day | NFL Week 17 | SGP Picks & Odds

The Chiefs are starting Chris Oladokun at quarterback and the Broncos still have plenty to play for, with the Patriots breathing down Denver’s neck in the battle for the first-round playoff bye.

My Broncos vs. Chiefs same-game parlay for Christmas Day has little faith in a depleted Kansas City team to keep things respectable. But Travis Kelce should see enough targets to make some noise in a matchup that favors tight ends.

The action for Broncos vs. Chiefs kicks off from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). The Broncos are 13.5-point betting favorites as part of our NFL Week 17 predictions.

Broncos -13.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Chiefs are starting Chris Oladokun at quarterback and the Broncos still have plenty to play for, with the Patriots breathing down Denver’s neck in the battle for the first-round playoff bye.

Kansas City is 5-9-1 against the spread this season, and it just fell by a 17-point margin to one of the worst teams in the league. The Broncos are decidedly not among the league’s worst teams, so this could set up to be one of the worst holiday games in NFL history.

Travis Kelce Over 38.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m not remotely confident in Chris Oladokun to distribute the ball effectively, but he would be crazy not to look for Travis Kelce just about every chance he gets.

Kelce has gone Over 38.5 receiving yards 12 times this season (obviously, under different QB circumstances) and will operate Thursday night without Rashee Rice, who landed on injured reserve this week.

The Broncos have allowed 942 yards to tight ends this season, seventh-most in the NFL.

Bo Nix Over 13.5 rushing yards (-112) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bo Nix doesn’t go into games looking to run, but when plays break down and opportunities exist, he’s got the chops to make it happen.

Against the Chiefs a few weeks ago, he logged just eight rushing yards, but I like Nix’s rushing prop on Christmas Day due to the meager line and the notion that Kansas City’s defense won’t be at its sharpest or most motivated with its season off the rails.

When the defense’s attention lapses, QBs scamper. Nix has cleared 13.5 rushing yards nine times on the season.
